한국어 카이로스 코스: 광역 토론토 지역
광역 토론토지역 교회들을 위한 한국어 카이로스 코스가 5월 1일-6월 19일까지 매 주 목요일에 토론토영락교회에서 열립니다. 적정 인원이 등록해 주셨음에 감사드리고, 더 많은 분들이 참여하며 참가자들 모두 열방을 향한 하나님의 마음을 품고 모든 민족을 제자삼는 주님의 제자로서 선교적 삶을 살게 되도록 기도해 주세요. 조력자들과 함께 팀을 이뤄 섬기는 이규준/한진숙 선교사를 위해 선교 동원 운동을 잘 섬겨나가도록 기도해 주세요.

Korean Kairos Course: Greater Toronto Area
The Kairos Course for the Greater Toronto Area churches will be held on Thursdays from May 1 to June 19 at YoungNak Presbyterian Church of Toronto. We are grateful that a good number of people have registered and request your prayer that more will join us. We hope all participants will develop God's heart for the nations and live missional lives as disciples of the Lord, making disciples of all nations. Please pray for Gyoojun and Jinsook, who will serve in the course as part of the facilitation team, so that they can continually contribute to the church mobilization movement for God's Mission.

동부 라와 프로젝트: 성경번역, 동남아시아 보안 지역

그렉과 로지 선교사 부부가 지난 20년 동안 이 사역을 섬길수 있도록 인도하신 주께 감사드립니다. 그 동안 마가복음 등 여섯 권의 성경을 라와어로 번역하였습니다. 하나님이 동부 라와 부족중에서 하나님 나라를 세우도록 도우셨고, 한 두 명의 신자로 시작했는데 이제는 약 40명의 성도로 만들어 주셨습니다. 그렉과 로지 선교사는 올해 안에 번역팀과 함께 이곳에서 사역을 마무리할 예정입니다. 로지 선교사의 건강이 거의 90% 회복되었고, 곧 현지의 심장 전문의의 검진을 받을 예정입니다. 로지 선교사가 2년 전에 시작한 재봉 프로젝트는 잘 진행되고 있습니다. 리더인 N* 사역자가 열심히 섬기고 있으며, 다른 여성들을 훈련에 참여시키고, 그들이 입고 있는 현지인 스타일의 블라우스를 바느질하는 방법을 가르치고 있습니다. 400개의 가방 주문이 들어와 바느질 프로젝트가 본격적으로 진행됨을 인하여 주께 감사 드립니다. 그렉과 로지 선교사가 현지 사역을 잘 마치고 뉴질랜드 본국으로 귀임할 계획을 포함하여 번역 프로젝트를 위한 지혜로운 결정을 잘 할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Eastern Lawa Project: Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia (Do not forward or post this online)
Praise the Lord, who led Greg and Rosie to serve for the last twenty years. Since then, they have helped translate six books of the Bible into Lawa, including the gospel of Mark. God helped them establish the Kingdom of God amongst the Eastern Lawa and grew the church from one or two Christians to around 40. Greg and Rosie will finish with their translation team here later this year. Rosie is doing well and has nearly recovered 90%. She will meet the cardiologist for a check-up here soon. The sewing project Rosie started less than two years ago is doing well. The leader, N*, is working hard and bringing her other ladies to training and teaching them how to sew the Lawa-style blouse they are all wearing. Praise God for the sewing project going full steam, with an order for 400 bags being worked on now. Please pray for wisdom in making decisions in the translation project, including Greg and Rosie’s plan to finish here and return to New Zealand. *pseudonym

성경번역을 위한 기금 모금과 감동적인 참여: 케냐
지난3월 15일 나이로비, 나쿠루, 엘도렛 세 곳에서 열린 제18회 “성경 없는 부족들을 위한 달리기” 행사를 인해 하나님께 감사드립니다. 이 연례 행사는 케냐와 그 외 여러 지역에서 성경 번역에 대한 인식을 높이고 기금을 마련하는 행사입니다. 이 특별한 행사에 기업체들, 교육 기관들, 교회들과 이 행사를 지원하기 위해 23,000여명의 많은 사람들이 함께 참가한 것을 인해 하나님을 찬양합니다. 이 행사를 계기로 더 많은 사람들이 성경 번역 사역에 동참하게 되는 감동이 일어나도록, 그리고 이 사역을 통하여 재정이 잘 모금되도록 기도해 주세요.

Inspiring involvement, raising funds for translation: Kenya
Thank God for the 18th edition of Run For The Bibleless that took place on March 15 in three locations: Nairobi, Nakuru, and Eldoret. This annual event raises awareness and funds for Bible translation in Kenya and beyond. Praise God that this special event included the participation of corporate organizations, educational institutions, churches, and individuals who came out in large numbers to support the initiative, with around 23,000 participants. Pray that many will be inspired to engage in Bible translation as a result, and ask God to bless the projects that will be funded.

인도네시아의 성경 번역 운동에 종사하는 많은 사람들을 섬기는 야쟈시 항공 사역을 인해 하나님을 찬양합니다. 두 번째 카라반 항공기 구매 과정을 위한 모든 필요한 행정 절차가 잘 준비되도록, 야쟈시 항공 사역을 위해 항공기 한 대를 더 구입할 수 있는 재정이 모금되도록, 항공 서비스가 필요한 동역자들(성경 번역 선교사들, 선교 단체들과 교회들)을 지원하는데 필요한 운영 비용이 잘 충당되도록, 조종사들과 유지 보수 사역자들이 야쟈시 운영 메뉴얼을 4월 정부 제출 기한에 맟추어 업데이트할 수 있도록, 야쟈시의 전반적인 운영이 하나님의 보호하심 아래 원활하게 이루어도록 함께 기도해 주세요

Mission aviation, a crucial exceptional service: Indonesia
Praise God for the YAJASI aviation ministry, which serves many who work in Bible translation movements in Indonesia. Pray for the preparation of all necessary documents, for the procurement process of the second Caravan aircraft, funding to purchase one more aircraft for YAJASI’s aviation ministry, the continued ability to provide subsidized rates to partners who need aviation services (Bible translators, mission organizations, and churches) while still covering operational costs, the pilots and maintenance staff as they work on updating the YAJASI Operation Manual to ensure it is ready by the government deadline in April, and YAJASI ‘s overall operations to run safely and smoothly under God's protection.

Base Operations
Pray for the transitions at the JAARS Base in Waxhaw, North Carolina, USA, to increase our ability to train, deploy, and support the next generation of missionary pilots, mechanics, and technicians. New and restructured divisions, departments, and staff are at every level. Pray we will build cohesive cross-functional teams with agile minds and willing hearts as we learn new ways to work together.
