이규준/한진숙 선교사: 캐나다, 디아스포라 동원
최근 홍콩출신 중국인 자매들을 만나 삶과 사역을 나누게 해주신 주님께 감사드립니다. PK (목회자 자녀)로서 잘 장성하며, 교사와 어린이 및 가정을 위한 놀이 치료 사회복지사로 섬기고 있는 두 자매는, 더 열정을 가지고 복음을 나누며 성경번역 선교의 중요성을 알고 더 섬기려고 하고 있습니다. 이번 만남을 통해 중요한 기도사역에 더 헌신하고, 팀을 이뤄 합력하여 기도하게 되도록, 또한 중국인 교회협력팀 재건을 위해서도 중요한 역할을 감당하도록 기도해 주세요.
이번 목요일부터 시작되는 카이로스 코스와 , 5월 12-14일에 진행되는 북미 한인 책임조력자 수련회를 잘 준비하고 섬길 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. (다음 링크 통해 자세한 내용으로 기도해주세요.)

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Director of Diaspora Engagement, Canada
We thank the Lord for allowing us to share life and ministry with Chinese sisters from Hong Kong recently. The sisters, who are thriving as PKs (pastor's children), serving as a social worker doing playing therapy for children and their family and high school teacher studying in her Master's degree respectively, are more passionate about sharing the gospel and recognizing the importance of Bible translation missions, and want to serve more. Pray that this meeting will encourage them to commit more to this vital ministry of prayer, to form a prayer team, and to play a significant role in rebuilding the Chinese Diaspora Engagement team.
Please pray that it will go well and that good people will join us. Pray that we will be well prepared and able to serve the Kairos course starting this Thursday and the North American Korean Head Facilitator Retreat on May 12-14, 2017. 한국어 카이로스 코스: 광역 토론토 지역
광역 토론토지역 교회들을 위한 한국어 카이로스 코스가 5월 1일-6월 19일까지 매 주 목요일에 토론토영락교회에서 열립니다. 적정 인원이 등록해 주셨음에 감사드리고, 더 많은 분들이 참여하며 참가자들 모두 열방을 향한 하나님의 마음을 품고 모든 민족을 제자삼는 주님의 제자로서 선교적 삶을 살게 되도록 기도해 주세요. 조력자들과 함께 팀을 이뤄 섬기는 이규준/한진숙 선교사를 위해 선교 동원 운동을 잘 섬겨나가도록 기도해 주세요.

Korean Kairos Course: Greater Toronto Area
The Kairos Course for the Greater Toronto Area churches will be held on Thursdays from May 1 to June 19 at YoungNak Presbyterian Church of Toronto. We are grateful that a good number of people have registered and request your prayer that more will join us. We hope all participants will develop God's heart for the nations and live missional lives as disciples of the Lord, making disciples of all nations. Please pray for Gyoojun and Jinsook, who will serve in the course as part of the facilitation team, so that they can continually contribute to the church mobilization movement for God's Mission.

다양한 방식을 통한 풍성한 나눔: 중앙아프리카공화국
중앙아프리카 성경번역 및 문해협회는 교회, 지역 사회 및 동역단체들의 후원을 받고 있습니다. 이 풍성한 나눔은 특히 성경 번역 프로그램을 위한 중보 기도, 성경번역 선교를 위한 특별 헌금, 성경번역 관련 사역자들의 동원, 번역 팀 사역과 모임 및 이들의 훈련 코스들을 위한 시설/장소 제공 등을 통해 구체적으로 이뤄지고 있습니다. 이에 상응하여 협회는 교회와 지역 사회에 인쇄 봉사, 사목 활동, 성경 연구를 위한 여러 측면을 포함한 다양한 성경 활용 훈련 과정을 제공하며, 특히 트라우마 치유 워크숍에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 또한 외부 협력 단체들로부터는, 성경번역 프로그램에 필요한 재정, 번역 자문 위원들의 컨설팅, 장비 등을 제공받고 있습니다. 이러한 여러 상호작용과 지역 교회들이 특별 헌금과 물적 자원 기부 등으로 협력해 주심에 감사드립니다. 이 모든 것이 이 나라 (안에서 진행 되는 여러 언어의) 성경 번역 사역에 더 큰 영향을 미치도록 기도해 주세요.

Generosity in various aspects: Central African Republic
The Association Centrafricaine pour la Traduction de la Bible et l’Alphabétisation (ACATBA) enjoys the support of churches, communities and partners. This generosity is shown in particular through the times of prayer devoted to Bible translation programmes, the offerings organised, the workers' recommendations, and the provision of facilities to host training courses and translation teams. In return, ACATBA generously offers churches and communities various training courses, such as for printing services, chaplaincy, and various aspects of Scripture engagement, mostly trauma healing workshops. With other external partners, ACATBA benefits from financial support and the contribution of consultants and equipment for translation programmes. Thank God for all this interaction and for the local churches that organise special offerings and donations of materials. Pray that all this will contribute to a greater impact in the country's Bible translation work.

Giving that Lasts (Legacy Giving): UK, Chad
Wycliffe UK gives thanks for a generous legacy donation through someone’s will that is supporting Bible translation work for 11 languages in Chad’s Guera region. Pray that this funding enables teams in the Guera region to continue making significant progress on the New Testament. This allows each language community to access God’s Word in a language they understand best. Such faithful legacy giving continues to play a role in Bible translation around the world. Pray that examples like this inspire others to invest in God’s mission in ways that will outlast them.

항공 선교
지난 75년 이상 동안 잘스는 지구상에서 가장 멀리 떨어진 오지를 대상으로 사역하는 항공 선교의 선두 주자입니다. 아직도 하나님의 말씀을 듣지 못하는 많은 소수 민족이 가장 접근하기 어려운 곳에 거주하기 때문입니다. 끝없이 펼쳐진 열대우림과 험준한 산악지대, 예측할 수 없는 날씨, 지원할 시스템이 거의 없는, 수작업으로 만든 활주로를 상상해 보십시오. 이러한 환경에서 안전하게 비행하는 것은 지구상에서 가장 힘든 일 중 하나이며, 하나님께서 잘스를 부르신 사명의 핵심입니다. 잘스의 항공기 유지 보수, 전문적인 훈련이 필요한 조종사들과 정비사들, 항공전자 기술자들, 그리고 자격을 갖춘 사역자들을 잘 동원할 수 있도록, 또한 전 세계 항공 선교 협력 단체들과 더욱 효과적으로 협업할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Air Operations
For over 75 years, JAARS has been a leader in mission aviation, serving in the most remote and rugged places on Earth. Many language groups still lack access to God’s Word and are among the most difficult to reach. Picture endless miles of rainforest and rugged mountains—with unpredictable weather, no support system, and airstrips carved out by hand. Flying safely in these environments is one of the most challenging jobs on earth, and it’s at the core of what God has called JAARS to do. Please pray for the maintenance needs of our fleet of aircraft, as well as for the pilots, mechanics, and avionics technicians who require our specialized training, and for the acquisition of qualified staff. Pray for effective collaboration with our mission aviation partners worldwide.
