이규준 / 한진숙 선교사: 캐나다, 디아스포라 동원
이글스필드 커뮤니티 처치의 올해 단기선교팀을 위해 지난 4월말부터 조력자 훈련으로 시작하여, The Unfinished Story (완수할 이야기) 프로그램이 진행 중입니다. 60명에 달하는 청소년/청년/장년 팀이 함께 훈련 받으며, 팀웍을 다지게 해주심에 감사드립니다. 5월 16(금)에 이뤄지는 마지막 세션이 잘 진행되게 하시고, 깊은 나눔과 기도를 통해 이번 단기사역 뿐만 아니라, 참가자들 각자의 하루하루 삶으로 하나님의 선교가 이어지도록 기도해 주세요. 5월 12-14일에 미국과 캐나다의 책임조력자들이 모여 재훈련과 동원사역의 비전을 새롭게 하는 수련회를 갖습니다. 선교적 제자 훈련의 제목으로 특강을 인도하시는 송민호 목사님과 섬기는 모든 리더들을 위해, 전체 인도하는 이 선교사 부부를 위해 함께 기도해 주세요.

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Director of Diaspora Engagement, Canada
The Unfinished Story program is underway for this year's short-term mission teams at Eaglesfield Community Church, starting with facilitator training in late April. We are grateful to have about 60 people of the youths/young adults/seniors teams training together and building teamwork. Pray that the final session on Friday, May 16, will go well, and that through in-depth sharing and prayer, God's mission will continue not only in this short-term ministry, but in the daily lives of each participant. On May 12-14, Korean Head facilitators from the United States and Canada will gather for a retreat for upskilling and renewing their vision for church mobilization ministry. Please pray for Rev. Minho Song, guest speaker, who will lead the special session with the theme of Missional Church's discipleship, and other leaders who serve together with the Lees.

크리 원주민 성경 번역 운동: 나스카피 프로젝트
나스카피 공동체를 방문하는 장거리 여행을 위해 기도해 주셔서, 또한 새로운 나스카피 성경을 받은 친구들을 위해 중보해 주셔서 감사합니다. 빌 선교사는 나스카피어를 사용하는 모든 수준의 독자들에게 성경 이야기를 나스카피어로 번역된 내용과 연결시켜 이해할 수 있도록 가르쳤습니다. 나스카피어로 인쇄된 첫 번째 책 중 하나는 복음서에서 발췌한 예수 그리스도의 생애를 그린 삽화 책이었습니다. 나스카피어로 읽기를 배우는 어른들은 이 책을 사용하고 집이나 교실, 공동체 활동 등에서 다양한 방식의 문해 사역으로 활용될 계획입니다. 나스카피 번역 팀인 실라스, 수잔, 마리안, 루비, 알마, 빌, 그리고 번역 자문 위원들이 매주 줌을 통해 번역 및 언어 프로젝트를 진행하고 있는데 계속해서 기도해 주세요..

Cree initiative: Naskapi Project
Thank you for your prayers during our trip back to the Naskapi community and for our friends who received some new Naskapi scriptures. Bill taught Naskapi speakers at any reading level to engage with the stories from the Bible that have been translated into Naskapi. One of the first books ever using this book. Norma Jean and her this project, and there are plans to use them in many different ways in homes, classrooms, and community activities. Please continue praying for the Naskapi translation team, Silas, Susan, Marianne, Ruby, Alma, Bill, and the consultants as we work weekly on Naskapi translation and language projects over Zoom.

디지털 시대의 공동체 구축과 방식 공유: 미주, 글로벌
EMDC*는 성경 번역가, 성경 보급자, 문해 및 다문화 사역자, 교회, 공동체, 기관 등 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 다양한 기술, 시청각 미디어, 디지털 전략을 사용해 성경 활용을 촉진하는 데 초점을 맞춘 최첨단 교육과 네트워크 구축을 지원하는 단체입니다. 다음 EMDC 영어 컨퍼런스는 5월 14--22일까지 네덜란드에서 열립니다. 600명 이상의 참석자가 예상되며, 400명 이상이 사전 등록했습니다. 스페인어권 EMDC의 다음 행사는 8월 24--30일까지 페루에서 열립니다. EMDC 스페인어권 준비 팀은 콜롬비아, 페루, 멕시코, 미국, 스위스 출신으로 구성되어 있고, 두 행사 모두 협력과 단결의 정신으로 다양한 문화가 접촉합니다. 스페인어권 EMDC의 주제는 에베소서 4장 16절입니다: “그에게서 온 몸이 각 마디를 통하여 도움을 받음으로 연결되고 결합되어 각 지체의 분량대로 역사하여 그 몸을 자라게 하며 사랑 안에서 스스로 세우느니라.” 연사들과 세션 및 훈련을 준비하는 분들, 행사 운영을 담당하는 분들 그리고 참가자들을 위해 기도해 주세요. 디지털 시대에 공동체를 세우는 이 기회를 주신 하나님께 감사드리며, 열방에서 다양한 기술, 미디어, 전략을 활용해 문화적으로 적합한 방식으로 성경적 마음을 감동시키는 사역자들 간에 훈련과 네트워크를 통해 서로 잘 연결되도록 기도해 주세요..

Building community and sharing tools in the digital era: Americas, Global
EMDC* promotes cutting-edge training and networking among Bible translators, Scripture promoters, literacy and cross-cultural workers, churches, communities, and organizations in using various technologies, audiovisual media, and digital strategies to foster interaction with Scripture. The next EMDC conference in English will take place in the Netherlands from 14 to 22 May. Organizers expect over 600 attendees, with over 400 already registered. The third edition of EMDC in Spanish will be held from 24 to 30 August in Peru. The EMDC Spanish Coordinating Team includes people from Colombia, Peru, Mexico, the United States, and Switzerland. In both gatherings, various cultures come together through a spirit of collaboration and unity. For the Spanish EMDC, the theme is Ephesians 4:16: “And through Christ the whole body is fitted and knit together by the union of every part; and when every part is working well, the whole grows and builds itself up in love.” Please pray for presenters as they prepare sessions and training, for those organizing conference logistics, and for all who plan to attend these conferences. Thank God for this opportunity to build community in the digital era, promoting training and networking among ministries and people who serve others worldwide using various technologies, media, and strategies to impact hearts with Scripture in culturally relevant ways.

Sea Operations
In parts of Africa, South America, and the Pacific, boats are often the best—or sometimes the only—means of reaching remote areas. However, the trip can be harrowing: boarding rundown ships that frequently lack safety equipment and navigating rough waters far from any hope of help if something goes wrong. JAARS provides coastal communities with specialized vessels, including outfitting, delivery, and repair, as well as logistical and financial support for boat programs, safety equipment, signaling devices, emergency satellite beacons, and water safety training. Please pray that JAARS’s sea operation team may serve as the best support teamwork.
