홍현민/함귀주 선교사: 선교학 컨설턴트, GBT 성경번역 선교회
홍 선교사 부부는 GBT 성경번역선교회에서 선교학 컨설턴트로서 섬기고 있는데, 계속하여 말씀 묵상과 선교학 연구가 깊어지도록 기도해 주세요. 미드웨스턴 신학대학원 논문지도 사역에 지혜를 주시도록, 크라이더 연구회 모임을 통해 초기교회에 대한 이해가 더 깊어지고, 크라이더 교수님의 강의안 번역 프로젝트가 잘 진행하도록, 홍 선교사에게 맡겨 주신 강의와 설교를 잘 준비하여 하나님의 선교와 성경의 선교적 이해 주제를 잘 전달하도록 기도해 주세요. 또한 함께 참여하는 교회 지도자 북클럽 모임을 통해 친밀한 교제가 계속 일어 나도록, 가족 모두가 하나님을 사랑하고 이웃을 사랑하는 삶을 살도록 기도해 주세요.

Joseph & Ju Hong: Missiology consultant, Global Bible Translators (GBT)
The Hongs continue to serve as Missiology Consultants for GBT. Please pray that their meditation on the Word and missiology research will continue to deepen. Pray also for wisdom for Joseph's dissertation advising at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pray that their meetings with the Kreider Study Group will deepen their understanding of the early church, and that the project to translate Dr. Kreider’s lecture notes will proceed smoothly. Pray that Joseph may prepare well for the lectures and sermons entrusted to him, effectively conveying the themes of God’s mission and a missiological understanding of the Bible. Please also pray that the Church leaders' book club will continue to foster close fellowship. Lastly, pray that their whole family continues to live lives of love for God and their neighbours.

박요섭/조선향 선교사: 성경번역, 파푸아뉴기니
박 선교사 부부는, 파푸아뉴기니에서의 사역을 위한 비자 갱신을 위해 부득이 캐나다에 돌아와서 필요 서류를 구비해 신청을 완료하고 기다리는 중입니다. 2.5개월 걸린다고 하는데, 7월 말에는 임지로 복귀할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 또한 계속해서 현지와 연결하여 밤낮없이 사역 중인데, 건강하게 잘 감당하도록 기도해 주세요.

Joseph & Joyce Park: Bible translation, PNG
The Parks have had to return to Canada to renew their visas for their ministry in Papua New Guinea. They have gathered all the necessary documents, completed the application, and are now waiting for a response. They’ve been told it will take about two and a half months, so please pray that they will be able to return to PNG by the end of July. They are also continuing to work while staying connected with their field, so please pray for their health and strength as they carry out this work.

한국성경번역 선교회 스태프들을 위한 영어 교습 프로그램이 성료되었고, 교사들과 학생들 모두 은혜 안에 자라가게 해주심을 감사드립니다! 내년 봄에 GBT와 위클리프 캐나다의 인턴 교환 프로그램 준비도 잘 진행되도록 기도해 주세요. 이규준/한진숙 선교사는 이번 주말부터 7월 초까지 '우리는교회'와 '토론토참소망교회'에서 각각 첫걸음선교이야기와 TUS 프로그램을 매 주 토요일과 주일에 섬기게 됩니다. 지속적인 교회 협력 사역 통해 모두가 함께 소수민족들을 위한 성경번역 사역을 위해 힘껏 헌신할 수 있게 기도해주세요.

Engagement works, internal & external
The English language tutoring program for Global Bible Translators staff members has successfully concluded, and we are grateful that both teachers and students have grown by God's grace! Please pray that preparations for the GBT and Wycliffe Canada internship exchange program next spring will proceed smoothly. Gyoojun and Jinsook will be serving Mission 101 and The Unfinished Story at “We Are Church” and “Toronto True Hope Church” starting this weekend through early July, every Saturday and Sunday. Please pray that through this ongoing partnership with the churches, we may all dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly to the Bible translation ministry for minority ethnic groups of the world.

북부 태국어(라나) 문해 및 성경 활용: 동남아시아
최근 치앙마이에서 열린 국제 성경 번역 컨퍼런스에서, 태국 북부 라나 팀은 부스 운영을 돕고 줌 세션을 관리하는 일을 맡았습니다. 이를 통해 팀원들은 여러 나라의 협력자들과 함께하는 사역 현장을 직접 보고, 성경 번역 과정을 관찰하며, 영어 실력을 더욱 향상시킬 수 있었습니다. 라나 사무실이 지역 사회로 이전한 이후, 어린이 클럽이 성장하고 확장되어 주께 감사드립니다. 사역팀은 관심 있는 참가자들을 초청하여, 라나 문해 능력과 라나어로 된 성경 및 기타 도서 읽기에 중점을 둔 3일간의 읽기 및 쓰기 프로그램에 참여하게 했습니다.
- 라나 키즈 클럽에서 배우는 성경 이야기를 아이들이 기억하고 반 친구들과 잘 나눌 수 있음에 감사드립니다
- 라나 센터를 찾는 아이들과 어른들이 하나님의 임재와 사랑을 느끼고, 주님에 대한 지식과 사랑 안에서 성장할 수 있도록
- 성인 반을 개설하고, 일부 학교 교사들이 라나어를 읽고, 쓰고, 가르칠 수 있도록
- 훈련하는 목표가 이루어지도록
- 라나 팀원들도 믿음 안에서 더욱 강해지고 팀 내 관계가 더욱 깊어지도록

Northern Thai (Lanna) Literacy and Scripture Use: Southeast Asia
At a recent international Bible translation conference in Chiang Mai, the Northern Thai Lanna team helped organize a booth and manage Zoom sessions. This experience allowed them to see ministry work with collaborators from many countries, observe the Bible translation process, and further develop their English language skills. Praise God, the kids' club has grown since the Lanna office moved into the community. The team invited a group of interested participants to join a three-day reading and writing program focused on Lanna script literacy and on reading the Bible and other books in the Lanna language.
- Praise God, the children can remember the Bible stories they are learning at Lanna Kids’ Club and share them with their classmates.
- Pray for all the children and adults who come to the Lanna Center, that they may sense God's presence and love and grow in their knowledge and love for the Lord
- Pray for the goal of teaching adult classes and training some schoolteachers to read, write and teach Lanna
- Pray that the Lanna team members will continue to grow stronger in their faith and in their relationships within the team

지역 성경 번역 사역의 주도적 역할에 나선 교회: 인도네시아
SIKMA(열방을 향한 생명의 말씀이라는, 현지 성경번역단체)는 멘토링과 리더십 훈련을 제공함으로써 성경 번역 단체들의 전략적 파트너로 섬기고 있습니다. SIKMA의 동역단체 중 하나인 동갈라 인도네시아 개신교단이 중부 술라웨시 지역의 성경 번역 사역을 주도하는 데 더욱 적극적인 역할을 맡게 된 것을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 비전을 가진 리더십과 사역의 지속성을 위해 기도해 주세요.
- 교단의 지도자들의 마음에 있는 “거룩한 열정”을 인하여 감사하십시다. 이 열정이 성경 번역에 더 많은 주도권을 갖게되도록
- 성경 번역의 리더로서 새로운 역할을 맡게 된 교회에 지혜와 명확한 비전, 그리고 화합이 임하도록
- 교단이 자원을 활용하고 성경 번역을 사명으로 받아들이는 데 계속 헌신할 수 있도록
- 운동의 ‘주력 기관’으로서 교단이 성장할 수 있도록, 그리고 하나님께서 시설을 마련해 주시고 차세대 번역가 양성을 지원해 주시도록

Church steps into leadership role for regional translation: Indonesia
SIKMA serves as a strategic partner to Bible translation organizations by providing mentoring and leadership training. Praise God that one of SIKMA’s partners, The Protestant Church of Indonesia in Donggala (GPID), has taken a more active role in leading Bible translation efforts in Central Sulawesi. Pray for visionary leadership and sustainability.
- Give thanks for the "holy restlessness" in GPID leaders’ hearts. Pray that it fuels their passion to take more initiative in Bible translation
- Pray for wisdom, clarity of vision, and unity in the church as it assumes its new role as a Bible translation leader
- Pray that GPID will remain dedicated to using its resources and embracing Bible translation as its own mission
- Pray for GPID’s growth as the ‘main engine’ of this movement. Ask God to provide facilities and support the development of the next generation of translators

유럽 지역 국제연대 단체들은 6월 2일부터 3일까지 독일 홀츠하우젠에서 연례 지역 모임을 갖습니다. ‘힘을 합치다(Joining Forces)’라는 주제로, 참가자들은 급변하는 성경 번역 현장에 대해 기도하며 깊이 고민하고, 각 단체를 강화할 지혜를 구하며, 더 효과적이고 전략적인 협력 방안을 모색할 것입니다.
• 지도자들과 참가자가 성령님께 마음을 열고 반응하며, 필요한 변화를 기꺼이 받아들이고 용기와 확신을 가지고 새로운 사역의 시대로 나아갈 수 있도록
• 하나님의 인도하심을 신뢰하고 따를 때 깊은 연합과 창의성, 유연함을 허락해 주시도록
• 인내와 분명한 비전, 신실한 청지기 정신을 위해 기도하여, 이 세대가 새롭게 된 힘과 목적 의식을 가지고 사역이 계속 이어지는 것을 볼 수 있도록

Embracing change and discerning direction: Europe
The Europe Area Alliance organizations will gather in Holzhausen, Germany, on 2–3 June for their annual area meetings. Under the theme Joining Forces, participants will prayerfully engage with the rapidly changing landscape of Bible translation, seek wisdom to strengthen their organizations, and discern more effective, strategic ways to collaborate.
• Pray that each leader and participant will be open and responsive to the Holy Spirit—ready to embrace necessary changes and step forward with courage and conviction into a new season of ministry.
• Ask God to grant deep unity, creativity and flexibility as they trust and follow His leading.
• Pray for perseverance, clarity of vision and faithful stewardship, so this generation may see the work carried forward with renewed strength and purpose.

Thank God for providing a new backup captain for the Kwadima II in PNG while the regular captain recovers from surgery. We are grateful that the crew was able to transport the Sudest Old Testament committee
