파송을 넘어 돌봄까지: 목회자들을 위한 선교사 돌봄 패널 토의 및 조찬 기도

위클리프 캐나다에서는 광역 밴쿠버 지역에 있는 목사님들을 위한 조찬 패널토의 및 기도 시간을 갖습니다.

세계 선교의 현장에 파송되어 수고하는 선교사들을 돌보고 지원하는 일이 중요한데, 가족에 대한 것들과 기쁨과 도전 등 고향을 떠나 먼 곳에서 사역하는 일상 삶들이 다 포함됩니다. 일방적인 전달이 아니라 서로 주고 받으며 의견을 나누는 패널 토론 시간을 통해, 조찬과 함께 다음 내용들을 다룹니다.

• 선교사들과 교회 성도들 간의 패널 토의
• 실제적인 돌봄을 제공하는 구체적인 방법들
• 교회 규모나 예산에 구애받지 않고 실천할 수 있는 창의적인 방법들
• 함께 격려하는 기도

관심 있는 많은 목회자들이 참여할 수 있도록, 또한 하나님의 선교와 하나님 백성의 선교를 위한 좋은 교제의 시간이 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Wycliffe Postcard Weekend

Wycliffe Canada invites pastors in the Greater Vancouver Area to a breakfast panel discussion this coming Saturday.

Caring well for global workers involves seeing and supporting the whole person. This can include their family, joys, challenges, and everyday life far from home. Through an interactive panel discussion, we will feature the following topics:

• A panel discussion with global workers and church members
• Practical ways churches can offer meaningful care
• Ideas that can work with any church size or budget
• Encouraging time in prayer

Please pray that many interested pastors will participate and have a good fellowship for God's Mission and the Mission of His People.

캐나다 내 원주민 성경 번역 사역자들을 위한 워크숍이 구엘프 바이블 컨퍼런스 센터에서 11월 9일 주간에 열립니다. 많은 교회와 성도들이 11월 12일(목요일) 오픈 세션에 방문하셔서 함께 비전을 나누고 기도해 주세요.

First Nations Translators Workshop

Mother Tongue Translators Workshop for Indigenous Bible translation workers in Canada will be held at the Guelph Bible Conference Center during the week of November 9. Please pray that many churches and believers will attend the open session on Thursday, November 12, to share this vision and pray together.

박요섭/조선향 선교사: 성경번역, 파푸아뉴기니

엘니뇨 현상과 폭염, 그리고 가뭄이 겹치면서 카니누와 사람들은 더위와 식량 부족으로 인해 상당한 어려움을 겪고 있습니다. 번역팀의 엘리자베스와 피델리스의 부친이 지난달에 소천하셨습니다. 부친을 잃은 유가족들에게 하나님의 위로와 평강이 함께하기를 기도해 주세요. 11월에 알로타우에서 번역가들과 고린도후서를 번역할 계획이었지만, 최근 마을의 어려운 상황으로 일정이 불투명해졌습니다.

• 비가 내리고 작물이 자라 일용할 양식이 채워지도록 기도해 주세요.
• 번역팀과 함께 좋은 결정을 내릴 수 있도록 지혜를 주시기를 기도해 주세요.

Joseph & Joyce Park: Bible translation, PNG

Because of El Niño, a heat wave, and drought, the people of Kaninuwa are facing significant hardships from the heat and food shortages. Elizabeth and Fidelis's father, both from the translation team, passed away last month. Please pray that God will grant the bereaved family comfort and peace. The Kaninuwa team had planned to translate 2 Corinthians into Alotau with the translators in November, but recent difficult circumstances in the village have made the schedule uncertain.

• Please pray for rain so crops can grow and their daily food needs can be met.
• Please pray that God will grant us wisdom to make the right decision together with the translation team.

북부 태국어(라나) 문해 및 성경 활용: 동남아시아

치앙마이에서는 라나 키즈 클럽 소속 어린이 5명이 매주 주일 세인트 앤드류 교회에 다니고 있는데, 원래는 프로젝트 책임자인 오이 사역자가 아이들을 인솔해 주었습니다. 오이가 병에 걸리자, 한 아이의 아버지가 자원해 아이들을 차로 태워 주며 아이들이 계속 교회에 다닐 수 있도록 도왔습니다. 교회 공동체에 합류한 이후, 아이들은 놀라운 개인적 변화를 겪었습니다. 더 친근해지고, 표현력이 풍부해졌으며, 부모님과 어른들을 더 존중하게 되었습니다. 이 이야기는 보호자와 지지해 주는 부모 간의 헌신적인 협력이 어떻게 아이들의 영적, 정서적 성장을 도울 수 있는지를 잘 보여주며, 올바른 지도와 확고한 가치관이 어린 생명들에게 지속적이고 긍정적인 변화를 가져온다는 사실을 증명해 줍니다. 라나 사역에 인턴으로 합류할 헌신자들을 위해 기도해 주셔서 감사합니다. 인턴들이 계속해서 읽기와 쓰기 연습을 잘하고 있음을 하나님께 찬양합니다. 또한 가르치는 일을 도우며 그들의 역량이 성장하고 있음을 보며 하나님을 찬송합니다. 기도해 주세요.

• 목회자, 지도자, 교회 성도들 사이에서 북부 태국어 성경과 소수 언어를 홍보하기 위한 동영상 제작을 시작하는 팀을 위해 기도해 주세요

Northern Thai (Lanna) Literacy and Scripture Use: Southeast Asia

In Chiang Mai, five children from the Lanna Kids Club attend St. Andrew’s Church every Sunday, originally guided by project manager Oi. When Oi fell ill, a child's father volunteered to drive them, ensuring they could continue attending. Since joining the church community, the children have undergone a remarkable personal transformation—becoming more approachable, expressive, and respectful toward their parents and elders. Their story highlights how dedicated collaboration between caregivers and supportive parents can nurture children's spiritual and emotional growth, showing that guidance and strong values create lasting, positive change in young lives. Thank you for praying for those who will join the Lanna ministry as interns. Praise God that the interns continue to practice reading and writing. Praise God that their capacity is growing as they help teach.

• Please pray for the Lanna Material Development workshop in mid-October. This opportunity is open to teachers and interested individuals.
• Pray for the team as they begin preparing video clips to promote the Northern Thai Bible and language among pastors, leaders, and church members.

지난 10월 초 싱가포르에서 ‘안디옥 서밋 2026’이라는 대규모 선교 컨퍼런스가 열렸습니다. 위클리프 사역에 관심을 표명한 분들과 함께 나아갈 수 있도록 지혜가 필요합니다. 또한, 메콩 지역으로 가서 이중직 사역을 계획하고 있는 헌신자들을 돕기 위해 다른 선교 단체와 견고한 파트너십을 구축해야 합니다. 기도해 주세요.

올루한다 번역팀: 아프리카 앙골라
잦은 정전으로 인해 사역에 차질이 생겨 어려움을 겪고 있습니다. 또한 태양광 발전 시스템도 제대로 작동하지 않고 있습니다. 기도해 주세요.

Wycliffe Singapore:
A major missions conference, Antioch Summit 2026, was held in Singapore in early Oct. We need wisdom to journey with those who have expressed interest in Wycliffe's work. We also need to build a strong partnership with another agency to help those planning to go to the Mekong region in bi-vocational settings

OluHanda translation team: Angola, Africa
Please pray for the OluHanda translation team in Angola, who have been struggling with power outages that have disrupted their work. Their solar system is also not working.

선교사 자녀돌봄 스테이션에서 사역자들의 자녀를 돌봐 줄 절실히 필요한 대체 자원봉사 교사들을 하나님께서 보내 주시도록 기도해 주세요. 또한 은퇴하는 잘스 인쇄소 코디네이터를 대신할 적임자도 필요합니다.

두 대의 잘스 헬리콥터가 현재 태평양 상공을 지나 파푸아뉴기니로 운항하고 있음을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 여정이 무사히, 그리고 안전하게 마칠 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

최근 아프리카에서 사역자들과 현지인들에게 효과적으로 진행된 오토바이 훈련 프로그램에 대해 하나님께 감사드립니다.

Weekly prayer with JAARS

Pray that God will provide much-needed substitute teacher volunteers at the MK Station to provide childcare for our staff. We also need the right person to replace our retiring Print Shop Coordinator.

Praise God that both helicopters are now in the Pacific and heading to PNG. Pray for their successful journey.

Thank God for the effective motorcycle training recently provided to staff and nationals in Africa.
