Wordlovers Blessing Nations, Online prayer meeting in Korean
The Korean Diaspora Engagement team has begun online prayer meetings, held at 10 pm EST for an hour, on the last Thursday of every odd numbered month. We will have the second online prayer meeting on Thursday, March 30, and the title of the prayer meeting is 'Answering Prayer.' We will have fellowship in God's Word and prayer for Wycliffe Canada's Focus Projects, Korean members and diaspora church engagement ministries. Please come together with your friends who are interested in this prayer movement. (Please feel free to share the zoom link below with your interested friends.)

We thankfully share the prayer request items for Muslims in Canada during the Ramadan period, developed by Loving Muslims Together. Loving Muslims Together 단체에서 만든 30일간 무슬림을 위한 기도제목을 공유합니다. 라마다 기간 중에 주변의 무슬림 이웃과의 사랑과 복음 나눔을 위해, 현재 중앙아시아, 아프리카, 동남아시아 등 세계 여러 지역에서 무슬림 권 언어 민족들을 위한 성경번역 프로젝트를 위해 특별히 기도하는 기간이 되시길 바랍니다.

Bilua Bible translation and dictionary work: Solomon Islands
Jonah Anama completed the translation of the Old Testament into his own language, Bilua of the Solomon Islands. Praise God for Debbie Conwell of Wycliffe Australia helping Jonah to check the translation. Jonah desires strongly to see his people receive the Scriptures in their language and engage with it. He has been visiting the Bilua villages to read the printed portions of the Bible and teach from them. Praise the Lord that reading in their language has opened the Scriptures to the Bilua people as it speaks right into their hearts. Pray that God will move others to participate in the translation project. Jonah and his team also started a dictionary project that is tedious and slow going but they know that it will be of great encouragement to the people. Ask the Lord to build and strengthen relationships among everyone involved in this project.
빌루아 성경 번역 및 사전 프로젝트: 솔로몬제도
요나 번역가가 자기 모어인 솔로몬 제도 빌루아어로 구약성경 번역을 마쳤습니다. 위클리프호주의 데비 선교사를 통하여 요나의 번역을 점검하고 돕게 하신 하나님을 찬양합니다. 요나는 자기 부족 사람들이 모어로 된 성경을 받아 삶에 적용할 수 있게 되기를 간절히 소원하며 빌루아 마을을 방문하며 부분적이지만 인쇄된 성경을 읽고 가르치고 있습니다. 자기네 말로 번역된 모어로 성경을 읽음으로써 빌루아 사람들에게 성경이 그들의 마음에 바로 와 닿게 하신 주님을 찬양합니다. 하나님께서 또 다른 이들의 마음을 감동시켜 성경번역 프로젝트에 동참하게 되도록 기도해 주세요. 요나와 그의 팀원들이 함께 사전 프로젝트를 시작했습니다. 비록 지루하고 느리게 진행되는 작업이지만 사람들에게 큰 격려가 될 것임을 알고 있습니다. 하나님께서 이 프로젝트에 참여하는 모든 이들이 서로 협력하며 친밀한 관계를 가지게 되도록 기도해 주세요.
Pray for new language clusters: Indonesia
With over 700 languages in Indonesia, praise God that grouping similar languages together has helped speed up the Bible translation process. Alliance organization Kartidaya has facilitated the formation of new language clusters. Pray for the following new language clusters that will begin in 2023: GKUPA 2 in Papua (February), Irau in North Borneo and Sintang in West Borneo (March), and Sriwanda and Tadulako in Central Sulawesi (May). As these cluster projects begin, ask for God’s protection and favor to provide the needed team members, facilitators, funds, and venues for workshops. Pray for active involvement of the local partners.
새로운 유사 언어권들을 위한 기도: 인도네시아
인도네시아 700개 이상의 언어 중 유사한 언어들을 함께 모으는 방법으로 성경 번역 과정의 속도를 높일 수 있었음을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 국제 연대 조직인 카르티다야는 새로운 언어권들을 함께 모으는 과정을 진행했습니다. 올해 번역이 시작되는 다음의 새로운 유사 언어권들을 위해 기도해 주세요; 파푸아의 GKUPA 2(2월), 북보르네오의 이라우와 서보르네오의 신탕(3월), 중부 술라웨시의 스리완다와 타둘라코(5월). 이들 언어권별 프로젝트가 시작될 때 필요한 팀원들과 조력자, 재정 및 워크샵 장소들이 채워질 수 있도록 하나님의 보호와 은혜가 넘치기를, 또한 현지 동역자들의 적극적인 동참을 위해 함께 기도해 주세요.

Bible translation teams working in Cameroon, Papua New Guinea, Peru, and Uganda need 4WD vehicles to provide safe and reliable transportation. Ask for God’s help in acquiring the funding that will enable JAARS to send these vehicles.
