완수할 이야기 한국어 코스: 이글스필드한인교회

이글스필드한인교회(장성훈 담임목사)에서 지난 5월 17, 24, 25일에 30여 명의 단기 선교팀 훈련을 위한 “완수할 이야기” 프로그램이 은혜가운데 잘 마침에 감사드립니다. 학생, 청년, 장년이 함께 하는 이 훈련을 통해 참가자들이 모두 하나님의 선교에 대해 잘 깨닫고 선교적 삶을 살아갈 수 있는 실제적인 것들을 실행해 나갈 수 있도록, 이규준 / 한진숙 선교사가 계속해서 하나님 주시는 지혜와 열정으로 다양한 사역들을 잘 섬길 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

TUSfY at Eaglesfield Community Church

We are grateful that The Unfinished Story for Youth training program was held at Eaglesfield Community Church (Sen. Pastor, Rev. Sung Hoon Jang) for their short-term mission teams of more than 30 people on May 17, 24, and 25. Please pray that all mixed groups of participants (students, young adults, and adults) will understand what God's Mission looks like in general and develop practical ways to live a missional life. Pray that ECC will adopt this program for ongoing mission education and that Gyoojun and Jinsook continue to serve a variety of ministries through God-given wisdom and passion.

크리 원주민 성경 번역 운동: 빌 / 노르마진 선교사, 나스카피 프로젝트

빌과 노르마진 선교사 부부가 지난 4월 퀘벡주 셰퍼빌 인근의 까와와치카맠 나스카피 부족 공동체를 방문하여 나스카피 족장의 협력으로 나스카피 읽기 및 쓰기 강좌를 인도하는 등 여러가지 의미 있는 사역들을 잘 마쳤습니다. 또한 노르마진 선교사는 나스카피어 전문가 및 학교 교육자들과 함께 가정 교육용 나스카피 문해력 자료를 제작하는 데 도움을 주었습니다. 공동체에서 일어난 예기치 않은 청소년 자살 사건으로 충격과 슬픔에 잠겼을 때 하나님은 빌과 노르마진 선교사 부부를 통하여 촛불 집회 기도 모임을 인도하고 마을의 슬픔을 위로하도록 사용해 주셨습니다. 그래서 사역이 잠시 중단되었음에도 불구하고 대부분의 사역 목표들을 잘 마칠 수 있었습니다. 6월에 있을 사역 여정(6월 5-18일)에 안전과 건강, 그리고 준비하는 일을 위해서, 맥길대 나스카피 코스 인도, 성인 나스카피 문해 프로젝트 등의 계속되는 여러 사역들을 위해, 나스카피 공동체에 하나님의 말씀에 대한 갈망과 마음들이 열리도록 손모아 주세요.

Cree initiative: Bill and Norma Jean Jancewicz, Naskapi Projects

Bill and Norma Jean traveled to the Naskapi community of Kawawachikamach near Scheffervill, Quebec, in April and had many meaningful tasks done: the Naskapi reading and writing class in cooperation with the chief of the Naskapi Nation in Kawawachikamach. Norma Jean also helped with Naskapi language specialists and educators from the school and helped with producing Naskapi literacy materials. God uses Bill and Norma Jean to lead prayer meetings and comfort their grief when an unexpected tragedy strikes in the community. So even though the learning course was interrupted, Bill and Norma Jean could complete most of the goals. Please pray for travel mercy, preparations for the next trips (June 5-18), and ministries for the McGill Naskapi Classes, the adult Naskapri community literacy project, and many more. Pray for open hearts and a hunger for the Word of God in Naskapi.

위클리프 국제회의를 위한 세부계획들이 잘 진행되게 하신 하나님께 감사드립니다. 이 행사를 통해 다양한 요소들이 하나의 통일된 전체로 합해져 함께 성장하려고 노력하기를 원하는 우리에게 하나님께서 말씀해 주시고 세워주시기를 기도해 주세요. 회의 자료 번역에 필요한 시간을 내기 위해 세션들을 위한 준비가 진행 중입니다. 각 세션들을 맡게 될 모든 사역자들에게 하나님께서 지혜와 영감으로 함께해 주셔서 이번 국제회의에 참가하는 사람들이 하나님의 말씀을 분명히 들을 수 있게 되도록 함께 기도해 주세요.

Shaping the details into a unified whole

Praise God for the progress in planning all the details of the Global Gathering. Pray for various elements to come together as a unified whole so that God can speak and shape us as we seek to grow together. Preparations for the sessions are underway to give the necessary time for translating resources. Pray for all who will contribute to the sessions to prepare their contributions with God’s wisdom and inspiration so that the Global Gathering participants clearly hear from God.

JAARS Prayerline

For almost 75 years, JAARS has been a leader in mission aviation—serving in the most remote and rugged places on Earth. Many language groups still lack God’s Word and are the hardest to reach. Picture endless miles of rainforest and rugged mountains—with unpredictable weather, no support system, and airstrips carved out by hand. Flying safely in these environments is one of the most challenging jobs on earth, and it’s at the core of what God has called JAARS to do. Please pray for the maintenance needs of our fleet of aircraft, the pilots, mechanics, and avionics technicians who need our specialized training, and for acquiring qualified staff. Pray for effective collaboration with our mission aviation partners around the globe.
