함께 기도해 주세요

위클리프 캐나다는 기도가 선교의 가장 중요한 전략으로 믿고 기도하는 사역을 최우선으로 하는 선교 단체입니다. 위클리프 캐나다의 여러가지 기도 사역중, “성경번역을 위한 끊임없는 기도회”는 매주 화요일에 집중 프로젝트 사역을 위하여 모입니다. “현지 사역팀과의 만남” 역시 정기적으로 현지 사역 중인 성경번역 팀들을 만나 사역 소식을 나누고, 그 팀을 위하여 함께 중보하는 모임입니다. 이 외에도 위클리프 사역자들은 전체, 혹은 부서별, 사역 팀별로 정기적, 또는 부정기적으로 만나 사역을 협의하고, 서로 교제하며 말씀과 함께 늘 기도로 시작하고 기도로 마칩니다. 함께 기도로 성경없는 소수 민족들을 위한 성경 번역에 동참하기를 원하시는 분은 윤기태 선교사 daniel.yoon@wycliffe.ca 에게로 알려 주시면 안내해 드립니다.

Pray With Us

Wycliffe Canada is a missions organization that believes prayer is the most important strategy for missions and prioritizes prayerful ministry. Among Wycliffe Canada's many prayer ministries, "Unceasing Prayer for Bible Translation" meets weekly for different focus projects each week. The "Meet the Field Event" is also a regular gathering where we meet with project teams on the field to share ministry updates and intercede for them. Wycliffe staff members meet regularly, both as a whole and as part of different departments and ministry teams, to discuss ministry, fellowship with one another, and the Word, always beginning and ending with prayer. 이규준 / 한진숙 선교사: 디아스포라 협력 디렉터, 캐나다

이규준 선교사가 6월 30일, 주일에 토론토 스카보로 지역에 있는 새생명복음교회(新生命台福基督教會)에서 설교하게 됩니다. 대만출신 중국인들의 영어권 예배로 1세와 2세가 함께 헌신하는 교회라는 주제로 설교합니다. 디아스포라로 부르신 목적과 세대간의 문화를 이해할 뿐 아니라 그것을 넘어서 함께 하나님의 선교에 헌신하는 교회의 모습을 잘 나눌 수 있게, 또한 위클리프 캐나다 내 중국인 디아스포라 협력 팀의 재건을 위해서도 계속 기도해 주세요.

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Director of Diaspora Engagement, Canada

Gyoojun will preach at New Life Gospel Church(Scarborough, Ontario), a Taiwanese Chinese church, at their English worship service this coming Sunday, June 30. He will preach on the topic of the church as a missional community committing themselves to the mission of God, the first and second generations altogether. Pray for the church to not only understand the purpose of God's call as His scattered people but also understand the cultural differences between the generations so that the whole church will be able to be committed to God's mission together. Also, continue to pray for the reestablishment of the Chinese Diaspora Engagement Team in Wycliffe Canada.

교단 총회에서 번역에 대한 비전을 나눔: 독일

2년마다 열리는 천주교 교단 총회가 지난 5월 29일부터 6월 2일까지 독일 동부 에르푸르트에서 열렸습니다. 독일어권 전역에서 약 2 만여명이 참석한 이번 총회는 시편 37편에 영감을 받아 '미래는 평화의 사람에게 있습니다‘ 라는 큰 주제를 가지고 여러 도시에서 다양한 주제 토론들의 행사들이 열렸습니다. 위클리프 독일은 도심에서 열린 대규모의 박람회에 부스를 설치하고 참가했는데 이곳에서 모든 사람이 자기네 모어로 복음을 접하고, 읽고, 이해할 수 있도록 언어 연구, 읽고 쓰는 능력, 성경 번역이 여전히 중요한 과제라는 것을 총회 참가자들에게 보여 주기위해 노력했습니다. 이번 홍회에 참가한 사람들이 그들의 시야를 넓히고 전 세계적으로 성경 번역을 위해 함께 기도하는 일에 동기를 부여받아 더 많은 사람들이 복음의 놀라운 희망을 접하게 되기를 소망합니다.

Spreading the vision for translation at Church Congress: Germany

From 29 May to 2 June, the biennial Catholic Church Congress took place in Erfurt in eastern Germany. About 20,000 visitors from all over the German-speaking regions attended. The theme of the congress was: ‘The future belongs to the man of peace,’ inspired by Psalm 37. Events were held on a wide variety of topics at many locations throughout the city. Wycliffe Germany participated with a stand at the huge fair in the city center. They sought to show participants that language research, literacy, and Bible translation are still important tasks so all people can access, read, and understand the gospel in their native languages. Staff hope visitors will broaden their perspectives and be motivated to pray for Bible translation worldwide so that even more people can access the gospel's wonderful hope.

위클리프 네덜란드 팀을 재정과 기도로 후원하고 있는 네덜란드와 벨기에의 많은 교회들에게 감사드립니다. 교회들이 환대와 섬김으로 다른 이들에게도 성경 번역 사역에 대해 전하고 있음에 또한 감사드립니다. 하나님께서 위클리프 네덜란드의 홍보 대사로 기꺼이 섬겨 줄 더 많은 목회자들을 세워 주시도록 기도해 주세요.

Praise for church partnerships: Netherlands

Give thanks to the many churches in the Netherlands and Belgium that support the Wycliffe Netherlands team financially and through prayer. Give thanks for the hospitality of churches where they can tell others about Bible translation work. Pray that God will provide pastors who are willing to serve as ambassadors for Wycliffe Netherlands.

JAARS Prayerline

For almost 75 years, JAARS has been a leader in mission aviation—serving in the most remote and rugged places on Earth. Many language groups still lack God’s Word and are the hardest to reach. Picture endless miles of rainforest and rugged mountains—with unpredictable weather, no support system, and airstrips carved out by hand. Flying safely in these environments is one of the most challenging jobs on earth, and it’s at the core of what God has called JAARS to do. Please pray for the maintenance needs of our fleet of aircraft, the pilots, mechanics, and avionics technicians who need our specialized training, and for acquiring qualified staff. Pray for effective collaboration with our mission aviation partners around the globe.
