Meet our Field Partners online

Please come and meet with our field partners to pray and give together with them for Bible translation ministries. Wycliffe Canada is hosting an online fundraising event, as well as prayer event, for our partners to participate in. Prayer Ministries is planning a monthly online prayer time at 10:00 a.m. MDT, on Saturday, June 13. We will interview one of our field workers and pray in small groups, which will take a total of about an hour. Please let us know if you are interested in joining, and you are welcome to share this news and bring in others, too. We will also have an online fundraising event in which you will hear directly from the field as we will invite two guest speakers from Cameroon for the NDop Cluster project. It will be held at 10:00 a.m. MDT, Saturday, June 6. Please get zoom meeting ID and password by contacting Lauren Smith (lauren.smith@wycliffe.ca).

현지사역자와의 온라인 대화

온라인으로 현지인 사역자와 만나 대화하고, 함께 기도하고 헌금할 수 있는 기회가 있습니다. 위클리프캐나다 에서는 오는 두 주 토요일에 온라인 기금마련 행사와 온라인 중보기도 행사를 개최합니다. 6월 6일(토) 산지 시간으로 오전 10시(밴쿠버 9시, 토론토 12시)에 약 1시간에 걸쳐, 현지사역자를 모시고 인터뷰 시간을 가진 뒤 소그룹으로 나뉘어 함께 기도하는, 온라인 중보기도 행사가 열립니다. 참여를 원하시면 이메일로 답신을 주세요. Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): director of Wycliffe Taiwan and a regional manager of a sensitive area, respectively

We are grateful that we can do our daily work without much impact on the ministry during this pandemic as we were already familiar with home-office work. We thank the Taiwanese government for their well-prepared quarantine measures that keep us pretty healthy. We are also thankful to God that He has let Martha do a good ministry as a regional manager of a sensitive area for the past two years. Albert is preparing to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Wycliffe Taiwan by online format, so please pray that it will be an event to show our gratitude and praise to the Lord. Following the Amis Audio Scripture project, we are planning an audio Bible recording project for the Tsouzu people starting in August. Please fold your hands in prayer to ensure that all ministry will work smoothly with God’s grace.

코로나 대유행병 중에도 재택근무가 익숙해 있던 터라 사역에 큰 영향없이 일상의 업무에 임할 수 있는 것에 감사 드립니다. 방역을 잘 하고 있어 안전에 도움을 주는 대만 정부에도 감사드립니다. 마르다 선교사가 지난 2년간 보안 국가 지역책임자의 직무를 잘 감당하게 하심을 감사드립니다. 알버트 선교사는 위클리프 대만 25주년 기념 행사를 온라인으로 치르고자 준비 중인데 주님께 감사와 찬양을 올려드리는 행사가 되도록 기도해주세요. 아미족에 이어 오는 8월부터 추족 (鄒族,Tsouzu) 의 오디오성경 녹음 프로젝트를 계획중입니다. 하나님의 은혜로 말미암아 모든 사역들이 순조롭게 진행되도록 손모아주세요.

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)

R project: The team is finding ways to continue working during the pandemic, but they face many difficulties which can feel overwhelming at times. However, they are still trying to obtain the required government certification in order to receive foreign funds through their bank, but with government offices closed and travel restricted, it’s impossible to move this process forward. This is an urgent need. Please pray for God to intervene on this urgent need.

R 프로젝트: 실크 로드 사역팀이 이번 코로나 대유행병 중에도 계속 일할 방법을 찾고 있지만 때때로 감당할 수 없는 많은 어려움에 직면하고 있습니다. 현안 문제중 하나는 해외에서 송금받는 자금을 수령하기 위해 은행에서 필요한 정부 인증을 받아야 하는데 모든 관공서가 문을 닫고 여행이 제한되어 있어 더 이상 진행이 불가능한 상황입니다. 이것은 긴급한 상황입니다. 이 긴급한 필요를  해결해 주실 하나님께 손모아주세요.

Remembering church leaders: Global

PAAM members remind us to pray for the pastors and other leaders of the churches in Panama and all countries. During this time of the pandemic, many are not receiving the usual offerings and tithes to sustain the church ministries and the workers in mission whom they support. In some cases, there are no funds for salaries. However, pastors and leaders continue serving faithfully, utilizing social networks and telephone, to be attentive to the needs of their congregations. Pray that the Christian community will remember that these leaders need our support and prayer for provision, strength, wisdom, and grace. Pray for God to continue to guide and guard them through this time of world crisis.

교회 지도자들을 위하여: 전세계

파나마세계선교단체(PAAM) 회원들은 파나마와 전세계의 목회자및 교회 지도자들을 위해 기도하기를 촉구합니다. 

전염병 대유행으로 인해 많은 교회들이 교회 사역과 그들이 후원하는 사역자들을 위한 주정 헌금과 십일조가 들어오지 않고 있습니다. 사례비를 위한 재정이 아예 없기도 합니다. 그러나 목회자와 교회 지도자들은 성도들의 필요에 부응하기 위해 소셜 미디어와 전화를 활용하여 성실하게 섬기고 있습니다. 기독교 공동체가 교회 지도자들의 일용할 양식과 힘, 지혜, 은혜가 끊어지지 않기 위해서 재정을 공급해주고 기도하는 것을 잊지 않도록, 이 어려운 때에 하나님께서 사역자들과 일꾼들을 계속 인도하고 지켜주시도록 손모아주세요.

Coronavirus escalating: Russia

Russia has been behind the rest of Europe in the spread of the coronavirus. Yet recently more and more cases are being reported. Daily the numbers of infected cases and deaths are rising. As of May 22, Russia is considered the second-most infected country. Pray that the government and medical community will be able to respond to the coronavirus well. Pray for Wycliffe Russia staff as they are committed to help, train, and come alongside churches and individuals who are discouraged, anxious or perplexed about how to go forward. Ask God to show them how best to help others during this pandemic.

코로나 바이러스 증가: 러시아

러시아는 코로나 바이러스 확산이 유럽 국가들보다 뒤늦게 시작되었습니다. 그러나 최근 점점 더 많은 사례들이 보고되고 있고 매일 감염자와 사망자의 수가 증가하면서 5 월 22 일 현재 러시아는 두 번째로 감염자가 많은 나라로 간주되고 있습니다. 러시아 정부와 의료계가 전염병에 잘 대응할 수 있도록, 불확실한 앞으로의 일들로 인해 낙담, 불안해하고 당황해 하는 교회와 성도들을 도와주고 훈련시키며 동행할 수 있도록 섬기고 있는 위클리프 러시아 사역자들을 위해 기도해주세요. 또한 하나님께서 이 전염병중에도 더 많은 사람들을 도울 수있는 최선의 방법을 보여 주시도록 기도해주세요.

Let us remember: “There are different ways of serving, but it is the same Lord being served” (1 Cor. 12:5).

“직분은 여러 가지나 주는 같으며.” (고린도전서 12:5) 라는 말씀을 유념합시다.
 

Pray that even when we don’t see the way through a life circumstance, we can trust in God and wait patiently on him rather than trying to fix it on our own.

우리가 삶을 살아가는 상황에서 비록 길이 보이지 않을 지라도 우리 스스로의 힘으로 해결하기 보다는 하나님을

신뢰하며 인내심을 가지고 기다릴 수 있기를 기도하십시다.
