Online Kairos Course

The Korean Diaspora team will facilitate the first online Korean Kairos course every Tuesday between September 15 and November 17. We are thankful for the good number of people registered (about 30 people) and that the preparation has been going well for church coordinators and facilitators. Please pray for the successful pre-course prep meeting this Saturday (Sept. 12) and good teamwork for the facilitation team. 

온라인 카이로스 코스

한인 디아스포라 팀은 9월 15일부터 11월17일까지 매주 화요일에 온라인 카이로스 코스를 섬기게 됩니다. 30명 정도 적정 인원이 등록했고 준비 절차가 잘 진행되고 있음에 감사드립니다. 이번 토요일(9월 12일)에 있을 사전 준비모임이 잘 이뤄지고 조력자들이 좋은 팀웍을 이루도록 기도해주세요. 

September Virtual Prayer Meeting

Wycliffe Canada is continuing with the monthly online prayer meetings on the second Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. MDT. The next meeting is scheduled for September 12, with prayer for a project in a sensitive area. This project is a partnership of people working with language communities in two countries in a sensitive area. Wycliffe Canada has chosen this as one of its focus areas and is currently supporting part of this large project, specifically, three majority languages in one country and a training institute. Bible translation is so much more than a task. It is also a ministry that results in transformation by God’s Spirit and through the prayers of the Church. Please pray for this extraordinary prayer meeting.

9월 온라인 기도회

위클리프캐나다는 매월 둘째 주 토요일 오전 10시 (중부시간)에 온라인 기도 모임으로 모이는데 9월 12일에는 한 보안지역 프로젝트를 위하여 기도할 예정입니다. 이 프로젝트는 보안지역 두 나라에 걸쳐있는 언어 공동체들을 섬기는 사역팀과 함께 협력하는 프로젝트입니다. 위클리프캐나다는 이 프로젝트를 중점 지역중 하나로 선택하여 현재 이 대규모 프로젝트의 일부를 지원하고 특별히 한 나라에서 3개의 주요 부족어와 교육 기관이 주요 사역입니다. 성경 번역 사역은 단순한 과업 수행이 아니라 하나님의 성령과 교회의 기도를 통해 변혁을 일으키는 사역입니다. 이 특별한 기도 모임을 위하여 기도해주세요.

Serving and sharing: Global 
Praise the Lord for the serving and sharing of resources, skills and knowledge amongst Alliance organizations around the world in the Bible translation movement. Relationships and partnerships have been fostered and strengthened in mutual encouragement. Many lives have been touched and built up through this serving and sharing. 1 Peter 4:10a and 11b says, “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.... If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ....” (NIV) Pray that this spirit of serving and sharing will continue to grow amongst all Alliance organizations. 

섬김과 나눔: 전세계  

성경번역운동을 통하여 전 세계 국제연대 단체들간에 자원, 기술, 지식을 서로 제공하고 공유하는 것을 인하여 주님을 찬양합니다. 이러한 상호 격려중에 관계와 협력이 육성되고 강화되었고 이 섬김과 나눔을 통해 많은 삶들이 감동받고 세워지게 되었습니다. 베드로전서 4장 10-11절 말씀중에, “각각 은사를 받은 대로 하나님의 여러가지 은혜를 맡은 선한 청지기같이 서로 봉사하라…누가 봉사하려면 하나님이 공급하시는 힘으로 하는 것 같이 하라 이는 범사에 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님이 영광받으시게 하려 함이니…”(개역개정) 이러한 섬김과 나눔의 정신이 모든 국제연대 단체들간에서 계속 세워지도록 기도해주세요.

MissionAssist: United Kingdom 
MissionAssist is an Alliance organization that provides specialty services to people sent by churches to serve in Christian mission. These services range from practical to administrative and academic. Everything is done by volunteers working from their homes. Hundreds of volunteers have joined the network giving of their time, skills and financial resources to serve in worldwide missions. Praise God for MissionAssist and all the volunteers who serve. Pray for the leaders of Mission Assist to walk closely with God and constantly follow his leading. Ask God to provide sufficient volunteers equipped with the necessary skills, and that they will glorify him in all that they do.
