The Lees are thankful for the online-based ministries, such as the Kairos course, prayer meetings and RBBB, where they can serve together with other team members. Please pray that they will be able to join with the struggling Diaspora churches in creatively overcoming this pandemic situation and secularization of Christianity. Gyoojun would appreciate your prayers for the steadiness and growth of the Diaspora team, both Chinese and Korean, and God's wisdom for and pouring of His Holy Spirit on him as he strives to serve the team.

Giving increases during the pandemic: Wycliffe UK
Through the involvement of Wycliffe UK in the Bible translation movement, over 360 people from the UK and Ireland serve more than 470 million people speaking around 350 languages in 70 countries! During the pandemic, rather than seeing a reduction in interest in financing translation projects, Wycliffe UK reported a 30% increase in gifts. Praise God for effective virtual connections with a wider church audience in the UK. Praise him as well for people’s trust in God to provide even in the midst of a pandemic, as they stepped out in faith to give generously. Please pray that these gifts would fully play their part in funding Bible translation in many sensitive places in the world and be a witness to God's glory. Pray that out of the overflow of this generosity the many thousands of people impacted by this work will be transformed by access to the Scriptures in their heart languages.

 

 

 

 

 

대유행병중 늘어난 헌금: 위클리프 영국

 

위클리프 영국이 성경 번역  운동을 통하여 영국과 아일랜드 출신 360 명이 넘는 사역자들이 70 개국에서 약 350 개의 언어를 사용하는 4 억 7 천만 명 이상의 사람들을 섬기고 있습니다! 이 어려움중에 번역 프로젝트들에 대한 재정 후원이 줄어 든것이 아니라 오히려 헌금 기부가 30% 증가한 것으로 보고되었습니다. 비대면 상황에서 더 많은 성도들이 효과적으로 온라인에서 서로 연결되고 후한 기부를 믿음으로 결단하므로 하나님을 더욱 신뢰하게 하심을 인하여 하나님을 찬송합니다. 이 귀한 물질이 많은 보안 지역의 성경 번역 사역에 온전히 사용되므로 하나님의 영광을 나타내는 증거가 되도록, 후한 재정 나눔을 통하여 수 많은 소수 민족들이 자기네 말로 된 성경을 접하게 됨으로 그 들의 삶이 변화되게 기도해 주세요.

 

 

 

Participatory Approach Training: Malaysia

 

Wycliffe Malaysia conducts "Participatory Approach Training” workshops for translation workers. The training aims to equip workers to effectively guide project discussions so that the serving team and the community can participate together in evaluating, analyzing, making decisions and carrying out project goals. A participatory approach helps build consensus, and strengthens mutual understanding and trust. Pray for the trainers and trainees as they commit to working towards a common goal. Ask the Lord to provide wisdom and guidance for the trainees to understand the participatory approach. May this leadership model encourage many to objectively review the current status of their teams and programs to build unity with the communities they serve.

위클리프 말레이시아는 번역 사역자들을 위한 "협력 도출 방안 훈련“ 워크샵을 진행중입니다. 이 훈련은 사역 팀과 언어 공동체가 함께 평가, 분석, 의사 결정및 프로젝트의 목표를 수행할 수 있도록 사역자들이 프로젝트 논의를 효과적으로 인도하는 것에 중점을 둡니다. 이 방식은 서로의 공감대를 형성하여 상호 이해와 신뢰를 강화해 줍니다. 훈련가와 참가자들이 공동의 목표를 향해 잘 노력하도록, 참가자들이 이 훈련을 잘 이해할 수 있도록 지혜와 인도함 받도록, 이 리더십 모델을 통하여 사역 팀과 프로그램들의 현재 상황을 객관적으로 검토하여 섬기는 지역 공동체와 좋은 화합을 이루도록 기도해 주세요.
