Gyoojun and Jinsook Lee: Director of the Diaspora engagement team
Gyoojun and Jinsook will travel down to the US to host the Head Facilitators Training Course for the Kairos course on July 18-19 at Open Door Presbyterian Church. The Lees have worked with Simply Mobilizing (2016-2018) to implement the Korean Kairos course for the Korean American Churches and have helped the US Korean Kairos team, as needed. This is an extension of Wycliffe's collaborative work with SM Canada and US in mobilizing God's people and churches to accomplish His Mission. Please pray for traveling mercy as they drive and the successful sharing with participants, their passion to mobilize others.

이규준 / 한진숙 선교사는 7월 18-19일에 미국 열린문장로교회에서 열리는 카이로스 코스 책임조력자 훈련을 섬기게 됩니다. 위클리프 캐나다와 심플리 모빌라이징 캐나다 사이의 협력의 일환으로 이 선교사 부부는 지난 2016-2018년에 미국 교회들을 위한 한국어 카이로스 코스 정착을 위해 힘썼고, 그 동안도 도움이 필요한 때마다 미국 카이로스 코스 팀과 함께 섬겨 왔습니다. 이번 책임조력자 훈련을 통해 그 동안의 노하우와 동원의 열정이 참가자들과 함께 잘 나눠지고 운전해서 오가는 길의 안전을 위해 기도해 주세요.
Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible translation, PNG / on return assignment
Joseph and Joyce Park are very thankful for their safe arrival in Calgary last week. We are also very grateful for their generous hosts, Wycliffe prayer team members, who will give them a place to stay during their home assignment. Another good piece of news is that they will be able to see the same family doctor even though they were told that they would not be allowed to go back to the same doctor as the health service regulations have changed in Alberta. It is quite a lot of work for field workers to readjust when they come back to their home country. Please pray that the Parks will be able to receive proper medical attention during their stay in Canada in order to address their health concerns. Pray also that they will be able to serve the Kaninuwa team remotely in order to meet the expectations of the project funders. (The Parks are planning to attend a field workers' debriefing program called REVIEW, hosted by MissionPrep, Aug 8-12)
박요섭 / 조선향 선교사: 카니누와 성경 번역, 파푸아뉴기니 / 본국 사역
박 선교사 부부가 지난 주일 안전하게 캘거리에 도착했음에 감사드립니다. 또한 위클리프 기도팀원 중 한 가정에서 두 부부를 위해 국내사역 기간 동안 머물 처소를 제공해주셨음에 또한 감사드립니다. 선교지에서 사역하던 선교사들이 국내로 다시 들어올 때 재적응 과정을 거쳐야 하는데 이 역시 꽤나 도전이 되는 일입니다. 그 동안 알버타 주의 건강보험 규정이 바뀌어서 원래 가정의에게 도움을 받을 수 없다고 했는데, 감사하게도 가정의에게서 다시 받아주겠다고 연락을 받았습니다. 캐나다에서 지내는 동안 두 부부의 건강 상태를 돌보기 위한 도움을 잘 받을 수 있도록, 또한 카니누와 번역팀과 함께 원거리 사역으로 계속해서 번역사역을 하며 프로젝트 후원기관에게 책임을 다할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. (박 선교사 부부는 8월 8-12일 동안 미션프렙에서 주최하는 현지 사역자들을 위한 디브리핑 프로그램인 리뷰(REVIEW) 프로그램에 참여할 예정입니다.

Project for the Middle East: Italy
Associazione Italiana Traduttori della Bibbia (AITB), the Alliance organisation in Italy, is involved in a Bible translation project for a Middle Eastern people group. The work has been going on for several years and is nearing completion. Final checks are being made on the text of the entire Bible, preparing for layout and subsequent publication. Pray for those in the process of re-reading the text that the Lord will give them focus and discernment to find anything that still needs to be changed. Pray also for the health and physical strength of any team members who may experience health problems that would slow down their work.
중동 프로젝트: 이탈리아
이탈리아성경번역가협회 (AITB)는 중동 지역의 어느 성경 번역 프로젝트에 참여하고 있습니다. 이 사역을 수년동안 섬겨왔는데 이제 거의 마무리 단계에 와 있습니다. 성경 전체 본문을 최종 점검중이고 레이아웃 및 출판을 준비하고 있습니다. 여전히 수정할 것이 있는지 집중하고 분별력을 가지고 찾을 수 있도록 본문을 다시 읽는 사람들을 위해, 그리고 일을 더디게 만드는 건강상의 어려움들을 겪을 수 있는 팀원들의 건강과 체력을 위해 기도해 주세요.
Bible translation assessment: Philippines
Praise God for the Wycliffe Philippines team’s community visit and Bible translation or language assessment* for the Kinamiguin language. Pray for the upcoming community visit and assessment scheduled for June to July for the following language groups: Siquijodnon in Suiquijor, Boholano in Bohol, and Lower Ayangan in Ifugao. Ask God for wisdom, favour, and close cooperation as the team works with the communities.
*Language assessment survey involves gathering linguistic, social, and community information to create helpful and effective language development activities in Bible translation projects.
