위클리프 태국: 캘거리 지역 교회 동역

위클리프 태국 대표인 타라왓 / 지미 선교사 부부가 지지난 주일 기도팀과의 교제에 이어 지난 주일 다시 캘거리 한인장로교회(남성덕 담임목사)를 방문하여 담임 목사와 선교부와 함께 교제하며 사역을 나눌 수 있었음에 감사드립니다! 계속되는 구체적인 동역을 위해 교회 지도부가 논의할 예정입니다. 위클리프 태국과 캘거리한인장로교회의 킹덤 프렌드십 동역을 통해 더 많은 태국의 교회들이 성경 번역 선교에 동참하고, 교회 동원과 동남아시아 지역의 성경 번역 운동이 가속화되도록 기도해 주세요

Wycliffe Thai Foundation: partnership with Calgary Church

We are thankful that Tharawat and Jimmy, the director couple of Wycliffe Thailand, visited Calgary Korean Presbyterian Church (CKPC; Rev. Seoug-Deuk Nam, senior pastor) again last Sunday to fellowship and share their ministry with the senior pastor and missions team, following up on their fellowship with the prayer team a week ago from last Sunday! Details of continuous partnerships will be discussed by the church leadership. Pray that through the Kingdom Friendship partnership between Wycliffe Thailand and CKPC, more churches in Thailand will join the Bible translation mission, and that the Bible translation movement in Southeast Asia will accelerate.

카메룬 성경 번역 및 문해 협회는 필요에 부응하기 위해 성경 번역의 잠재력을 지속적으로 높이고 있습니다. 더 많은 언어 공동체에서 조직의 전문성을 요구하게 되면서 협회는 이러한 요구에 부응하기 위한 준비를 갖추고 있습니다. 지속적으로 이러한 필요를 채울 수 있게 도우시는 하나님께 감사드립니다. 또한 거의 60 개의 활발한 번역 프로그램이 교회연합위원회를 통해 현지에서 관리되고 있음을 감사드립니다. 일부 프로그램은 아직 탐색 단계에 있고 몇몇 프로그램은 공동체 내에서 동원을 하고 있으며 어떤 프로그램들은 성경 번역을 완료했습니다. 협회는 이렇게 여러 단계의 프로그램을 위해 훈련된 기술자들을 보냄으로 언어 공동체와 협력합니다. 카메룬 성경 번역 및 문해 협회와 함께 지역 교회와 공동체를 통해 하나님의 말씀의 빛에 접근할 수 있게 하신 하나님께 감사를 멈추지 않도록 기도해 주세요.

Continuing to respond to the demand: Cameroon

The Cameroon Association for Bible Translation and Literacy (CABTAL) continues to increase its Bible translation potential to meet the need. While additional linguistic communities are requesting the organization’s expertise, CABTAL is equipping itself to respond to the demand. Give thanks to God that CABTAL continues to meet this demand. Thank God for the nearly 60 active translation programs which are locally managed by the interchurch committee in each of the programs. Some programs are in the exploration phase, others are doing community mobilization and others have completed the translation of the Scriptures. For each of these levels of programs, CABTAL deploys qualified technicians to come alongside language communities. Let us not cease thanking God for facilitating access to the light of his Word through local churches and communities together with CABTAL.

위클리프 홍콩의 사역 개발 책임자 만킨 선교사는 동원과 선교 교육을 위한 행사들과 새로운 과정들을 조직해 왔습니다. 한 예로 가상 선교 훈련 프로그램인 “일일 선교여행”이 있습니다. 이 선교 훈련이 한 교회와 협력해 내년에 열리게 됩니다. 교회들과의 좋은 협력을 위해, 그리고 홍콩 교회에 성경 번역의 비전을 알리기 위한 사역 계획을 세우고 있는 만킨 선교사에게 하나님께서 지혜와 전략들을 허락해 주시도록 기도해 주세요.

Promoting the vision of Bible translation: Hong Kong

Mankin Chiu, the Ministry Development Officer of Wycliffe Hong Kong, has been organising events and new courses for mobilisation and mission education. One example is The Journey, a simulation mission game. The next game will be held in 2024 in partnership with a church. Pray for good interaction with the church. Pray for wisdom and strategies for Mankin as he works out a ministry plan to promote the vision of Bible translation to churches in Hong Kong.

내년 1월 초 말레이시아에서 사역할 “레퓨지139” (선교사 자녀(MK) 돌봄사역)팀이 잘 준비될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

한 해가 마무리되는 이 시점에, 잘스 사역에 대해 들은 사람들이 헌금과 기도, 그리고 섬김을 통해 잘스를 잘 후원하게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

세 개의 태스크 포스가 아프리카, 태평양, 그리고 라틴아메리카 지역에 새로운 선교 수송 허브를 구축하기 위한 단계를 측정할 때 하나님께서 지혜와 분별력을 주시도록 기도해 주세요.

JAARS Prayerline

Pray for the preparation of our Refuge 139 team that will serve in Malaysia early in January.

As the year comes to a close, pray that those who have heard about our work will be led to support JAARS through giving, praying, and serving.

Ask God to provide wisdom and discernment as our three task forces determine the steps for JAARS to establish new hubs for mission transportation operations in Africa, the Pacific, and Latin America.
