알버트/마르다 (이삭, 모세) 선교사: 위클리프 대만 대표, 보안국 지역 책임자

알버트 선교사는 작년 9월 말레이시아에 있는 무슬림 난민촌에 다른 단체 선교팀과 함께 방문하고 구강 위생에 대한 교육 경험을 통해 대만 위클리프가 난민 사역에 어떻게 참여할 수 있을지를 구상할 수 있었음에 감사드립니다. 마르다 선교사는 계속 현지 교회의 청소년부 멘토로 섬기고 있고 교회에서 하는 지역사회 아웃리치에도 참여하고 있습니다. 마르다 선교사가 치료 중인 악관절 통증과 잇몸 치료에 호전이 있기를 기도해 주세요. 중학생, 고등학생인 이삭과 모세가 믿음 안에서 잘 성장하는 아이들 되도록, 특히 겨울철에 심해지는 모세의 손 습진이 잘 치료되도록, 알버트와 마르다 선교사 부부가 섬기는 다중 사역들에 감당할 지혜와 능력, 그리고 건강 주시도록 기도해 주세요.

Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Language Program Manager of a sensitive area, respectively

Albert is grateful for his experience visiting a Muslim refugee camp in Malaysia last September with a mission team from another organization and teaching oral hygiene, as this helped him envision how Wycliffe Taiwan could be involved in refugee ministry. Martha continues to serve as a mentor for the youth ministry at her local church and is involved in community outreach at her church. Please pray for improvement in Martha's jaw pain and gums that she is being treated for. Pray that Isaac and Moses, who are in junior and high school, will continue to grow in their faith and that Moses' eczema on his hands, which is especially bad during the winter months, will heal as well. Pray also for wisdom, strength, and health for Albert and Martha to fulfill the multiple tasks they serve.

이규준 / 한진숙 선교사: 디아스포라 협력 디렉터, 캐나다

이 선교사 부부가 1월 15-17일에 미국 워싱턴 DC 근교에 있는 열린문교회에서, 교회동원사역을 위한 훈련을 섬깁니다. 카이로스코스 책임조력자 훈련, 동원학개론(Mobi 101), 2030세대를 위한 “완수할 이야기” 런칭 등 심플리모빌라이징 과 협력하여 섬기는 이 사역을 통하여 더 많은 교회들이 선교적인 교회로, 더 많은 성도들 특히 젊은 청소년과 청년들이하나님과 함께 선교에 임하는 삶을 살게 되도록 기도해 주세요. 아울러 이 선교사는 1월 14일(주일) 파송 교회인 토론토참소망교회(손명수 담임목사)에서 말씀을 전하는데 기름부음이 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Director of Diaspora Engagement, Canada

From January 15-17, the Lees will lead a church mobilization training at Open Door Presbyterian Church near Washington, DC, USA. Pray for more churches to become missional and for more believers, especially youths and young adults, to live a life on mission with God through this ministry in partnership with Simply Mobilizing, including Kairos Course Head Facilitators Training, Mobi 101, and the launch of "The Unfinished Story for Youth" for the younger generation. Pray for anointing for Gyoojun as he will deliver a sermon at Toronto True Hope Church (Rev. Myungsoo Son, senior pastor), his home church, on Sunday, January 14.

40년간의 성경 번역 사역: 싱가포르

작년 10월 초 위클리프 싱가포르 사역자들이 40 주년을 기념하며 하나님께 찬양을 올려드렸습니다. 로버트 솔로몬 명예 주교는 요한복음 1장 1-4절을 통해 말씀의 성육신, 깨달음과 이해에 관한 메시지를 전했습니다. 축하 행사에 참석한 후원자들과 동역자들은 위클리프 싱가포르가 그동안 섬겨온 사역들에 대해 이해하고 감사하는 축복의 시간을 함께 가졌습니다. 번역가들이 이 세심한 사역을 계속하며 인내, 지혜와 은혜 주시도록, 그리고 그들이 섬기는 공동체 내의 가족들을 보호해 주시기를, 또한 위클리프 싱가포르와 교회, 그리고 개인 동역자들 간의 더 깊은 유대와 상호 이해가 깊어지도록 기도해 주세요.

40 years of involvement in Bible translation: Singapore

The staff of Wycliffe Singapore praises God for the 40th-anniversary celebration on 7 October. Bishop Emeritus Robert Solomon gave a message from John 1:1-4 on incarnation, recognition, and comprehension of the Word of God. Friends and partners who attended the celebration were blessed with a better understanding of and appreciation for the work that Wycliffe Singapore has been involved in. Please pray that their translators will continue to have perseverance, wisdom, and grace in this meticulous work and also for their families' protection in the communities in which they serve. Pray for deeper bonds and mutual understanding among Wycliffe Singapore and its church and individual partners.

위클리프 태국이 작년 10월말 치앙마이 농콰이에서 창립 25주년과 새로운 다목적 본부 건물 개관을 기념하는 훌륭한 행사를 가질 수 있었음을 인해 주님을 찬양합니다. “그분의 손 안에”라는 주제로 약 200명의 국내외 후원자들과 동역자들이 직접 또는 온라인으로 참석하여 축하와 감사의 마음을 나누었습니다. 3층짜리 새 본부 사옥에는 회의실과 미디어 제작을 위한 방음 스튜디오가 있습니다. 지난 25년 동안 위클리프 태국을 축복해 주신 하나님을 찬양합니다. 위클리프 태국과 태국 성도들을 계속 사용하셔서 열방, 특히 태국과 그 주변 국가들을 예수께로 인도할 수 있기를 기도해 주세요.

Time to celebrate: Thailand

Let’s praise the Lord with the Wycliffe Thai Foundation team for a beautiful event held for its 25th anniversary and the opening of its new multipurpose office building in Nong Kwai, Chiangmai, on 28 October. With the theme of “In His Hands,” about 200 local and overseas friends and ministry partners joined the team physically or online for celebration and Thanksgiving. The new three-story office building includes a conference hall and a sound-proof studio for media production. Praise God for blessing Wycliffe Thai Foundation over the past 25 years. May he continue to use the organization and Thai Christians to help bring the nations to Jesus, especially in Thailand and its neighboring countries.

잘스는 최근 성경 번역 사역이 제한된 중남미 한 보안지역의 성경 번역 동역팀을 위해 두 척의 선교용 선박을 제공했습니다. 이 배들이 라틴 아메리카의 정글 지역에서 진행되는 6개의 번역 프로젝트들에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

최근 토속어 미디어팀에서 제작한 카메룬의 바메싱 소수민족어 누가복음 비디오가 완성되어 하나님을 찬양합니다. 이 동영상이 하나님의 영광을 위해 사람들의 삶을 변화시키는 데 사용되도록 기도해 주세요.

이제 바누아투의 많은 사람들이 에프엠 수신기가 내장된 "오디오 성경 플레이어"를 가지게 됨으로 인하여, 라디오 방송을 통해 바누아투의 많은 사람들에게 삶을 변화시키는 하나님의 말씀이 전파되도록 기도해 주세요.

JAARS Prayerline

JAARS recently provided two river vessels for a Bible translation partner in a restricted Latin American country. Pray the vessels will be used effectively for six translation projects in that jungle region of Latin America.

Praise God for the Bamessing LUKE video (Cameroon) recently completed by VM Productions (IMS). Pray for God to use this video to change lives for his glory.

Now that many people in Vanuatu have “audio Scripture players” with built-in FM receivers, pray that God will use radio broadcasts to reach many people in Vanuatu with his life-changing Word.
