Exploring Missions at JAARS: Niagara Korean Presbyterian Church
This is a mission training program provided for a church in a customized manner. Niagara Korean Presbyterian Church (Rev. Wook-Soo Suh, senior pastor) will have the training at the JAARS center October 25 - 29. Other churches and Individuals are more than welcome to join if they can register by Oct. 9. Please pray for the participants to experience God's Mission in special ways and to apply what they will have learned to their daily lives. Pray also that Daniel and Helen will be prepared and that they will lead the team well.
잘스 선교 훈련 여행: 나이아가라한인장로교회
잘스 선교 훈련 프로그램은 참가하시는 분들과 교회의 상황등을 감안하여 맞춤식으로 제공됩니다. 나이아가라 한인장로교회 (서욱수 담임목사) 팀이 10월 25일 출발하여 29일 돌아오는 일정으로 참가할 예정입니다. 다른 교회에서도 참여를 원하시는 분들은 10/9일까지 등록해 주시면 됩니다. 참가자 모두가 이번 여행을 통하여 주실 하나님의 은혜를 경험하고, 배우며 도전받은 것을 삶에 잘 적용할 수 있도록, 이번 행사를 인도할 윤기태 / 양희숙 선교사와 잘스 스탭들이 잘 준비하여 섬길 수 있도록 기도해주세요.
Interface for Korean church leaders in Canada and the US
With other Simply Mobilizing facilitators, Gyoojun and Jinsook Lee were thankful for the opportunity to serve the online Interface Seminar for three nights last week. The training was provided for Korean church leaders in Canada and the USA. All participants and facilitators appreciated the importance of the role for churches to nurture, equip, and release all God's people to participate with God on His mission. Please pray that all participants, especially together with their senior/lead pastors, will be able to apply what they have learned through the Interface Seminar in their respective church context. Pray also that more pastors and leaders will take this course to apply it to their life and ministries as well.
캐나다와 미국 한인교회 리더들을 위한 인터페이스 세미나
이규준/한진숙 선교사가 다른 SM 조력자분들과 함께 미국과 캐나다에 있는 교회 리더들을 위한 인터페이스 세미나를 지난 화-목요일 저녁 시간에 온라인으로 잘 섬길 수 있었음에 감사드립니다! 모든 성도가 하나님의 선교에 동참하고 교회는 그 일을 위해 성도를 양육, 구비, 파송하는 일들에 힘써야 함을 깨닫는 시간이었습니다. 참가자들 모두 특히 담임 목사들과 동역하여 받은 도전을 실제로 교회에 잘 적용하고 실행할 수 있도록, 또한 더 많은 교회 목회자들이 인터페이스 세미나에 참여하고 교회에 적용할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

AEL Kids Project, Peru
During the pandemic, AEL (Alcanzando a Toda Etnia en Su Lengua) Kids Project staff used new methods to teach about Bible translation and mobilise children for involvement. Teachers of children were invited to the webinar, "Teaching children about Bible translation." Also, teachers from different countries and organisations that work with children participated in asynchronous (not coordinated in time) virtual classroom training events consisting of 15 sessions. The third group of teachers will soon graduate. Praise God for the opportunity for participants in the AEL Kids Project to learn new ways of teaching which benefit not only the children's learning experiences but also those of the teachers.

코로나 기간동안 현지 언어 사역 단체인 AEL (각 부족들의 언어로 그들에게 다가가기) 어린이 프로젝트의 사역자들은 새로운 방법을 사용하여 성경 번역에 대해 가르치고 어린이들이 참여할 수 있도록 했습니다. 교사들은 "어린이들에게 성경 번역에 대해 가르치기"라는 온라인 세미나에 초대되었습니다. 또한 어린이들을 섬기는 여러 국가 및 기관의 교사들이 15개 세션으로 구성된 비동기식 (실시간 아닌 방식) 온라인 훈련 이벤트에 참여했습니다. 세 번째 그룹의 교사들이 곧 수료하게 됩니다. AEL 어린이 프로젝트 참가자들이 어린이들의 학습경험 뿐만 아니라 교사들의 학습 경험에도 유익한 새로운 교수법들을 배울 수 있는 기회를 허락하신 하나님을 찬양합니다.
Teochew Bible storying project, Singapore
Wycliffe Singapore launched the Teochew Bible storying project in 2021, with a vision to improve access to Bible stories for speakers of the Teochew language. The Teochew storying team has made steady progress in crafting and revising Bible stories, and three stories have been finished. Pray that God will continue to sustain and energise the story crafters–who are all elderly–and the facilitators, especially during this time of pandemic. Ask the Lord to use the Bible stories to bring the Gospel to Teochew speakers.
테오츄 성경 이야기 프로젝트, 싱가폴
위클리프 싱가폴은 2021년 테오츄 언어권 사람들을 위한 성경 이야기를 더 많은 사람들이 접할 수 있게 하려는 비전을 가지고 테오츄 성경 이야기 프로젝트를 시작했습니다. 테오츄 성경 이야기팀은 꾸준히 성경 이야기를 만들고 수정하는 작업을 진행하여 3편의 이야기를 완성했습니다. 특히 이반 대유행병 기간 중에도 하나님께서 모두 연로하신 스토리 제작자들과 조력자들을 계속해서 지켜주시고 힘을 주시기를, 또한 테오츄 사람들에게 복음을 전하기 위해 성경 이야기를 잘 사용할 수 있도록 함께 기도해 주세요.
