Revitalized partnership with Calgary Korean Presbyterian Church
We are very thankful for the years of partnership of Calgary Korean Presbyterian Church (Rev. Sung-Duck Nam, senior pastor) with Wycliffe Canada for Bible translation ministries for the Bibleless people groups. Gyoojun and Jinsook were invited to share the Bible translation ministries at CKPC's special keeping of Bible Sunday in their 50th anniversary year. Please pray that CKPC's Kingdom Friendship with Wycliffe Canada's two focus projects, Wycliffe Thai Foundation and SRA, will grow by collaborating with other churches who partner with these projects as well. We want to ask you to join us in celebrating their 50th anniversary, and ask God's continuous blessings on CKPC as they seek to join God's Mission more enthusiastically at the level of all nations for the coming half-century. Please pray also for Gyoojun's message today, as he is going to share God's passion for all nations and His Church's cooperation to join His Mission based on His Word.

그동안 캘거리한인장로교회(CKPC; 남성덕 담임목사)가 위클리프 캐나다와 협력하여 성경없는 부족들을 위한 성경번역 사역에 동역해 주셨음에 감사드립니다. 올해 CKPC의 50주년 기념의 일환으로 이규준/한진숙 선교사를 초청하여 성서주일을 지키게 되었습니다. CKPC가 함께 하고 있는 위클리프 태국, SRA 등의 위클리프 캐나다 집중 협력 프로젝트들을 위한 킹덤 프렌드십 관계가, 이들을 섬기는 타교회들과의 협력을 통해 더욱 발전해 가도록 기도해 주세요. CKPC의 50주년을 함께 축하드리며, CKPC가 모든민족이 함께 지어져가는 교회를 꿈꾸며 더욱 열정을 가지고 앞으로의 반백 년을 정진할 때, 하나님께서 몸된 교회를 통해 계속해서 복을 부으시도록 기도해 주세요. 오늘 하나님의 말씀에 기초하여 하나님의 열정을 가지고 교회가 협력하는 것이 어떤 모습인지 설교하는 이규준 선교사를 위해서도 기도해 주세요.
L & C: Bible translation in a sensitive area of Asia / remote assignment
L and C continue to work remotely with five members of Z language translation in different countries. With three local language tutors changing over the past year, L had to get used to the new language tutor each and every time. But we are thankful that there has been improvement in his language learning. Please pray that he will be able to overcome his newly developed tinnitus symptoms, on top of the challenges of learning online, and make good progress in his language learning. We are thankful that C has been making good use of the opportunity to teach Korean to the sisters of C country and to develop a good relationship to share the gospel with her family, while learning the national language of C country as well. Please pray for God's anointing on L's continuous service in exegesis for the team's translation work with the Z language, L and C's language learning, and the partnership with the local church in C country. Pray also that the airway to C country will be open soon so that they can meet and work together in person with the national translation team members on the field.

L and C 선교사는 각기 다른 나라에서 사역하는 5명의 팀원들과 함께 원격으로 사역하고 있습니다. 지난 1년동안
3명의 현지인 조력자가 바뀌어서 매번 새 언어조력자에게 적응해야 하는 어려움에도 언어습득에 진전이 있었음을 감사드립니다. 대면도 아닌 상황에서 또한 최근 발생한 이명 증세 등을 잘 극복하며 대상 언어를 계속 잘 배울 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. C 선교사는 C국 자매에게 한국어를 가르쳐 주고 반대로 C국 언어를 배우면서 그 가정과 교제하며 '좋은 소식'을 나눌 기회를 잘 활용하고 있어서 또한 감사드리며, 언어의 발전과 생명 구원의 역사를 위해 기도해 주세요. 계속되는 L 선교사의 주해를 통한 팀 번역사역, 대상언어 습득, 현지인 교회와의 협력 등에 하나님의 기름부으심이 있도록, 하루 속히 하늘 길이 열려서 현지인 번역 팀원들과 함께 만나 대면으로 사역할 수 있도록

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)
The following prayer requests are prayers for the soil tilling efforts in this sensitive area. By serving the community in sustainable literacy and education development, the team is loving the community in very practical ways which pave the way for sustainable Bible translation work, which we believe the Lord will use to transform lives for His glory.
The Q project: Praise God for the completion of the consultant checking of the whole New Testament in September! 1-2 Peter, 1-3 John, Jude and Revelation were checked back in July and September, and comprehension testing of Revelation 15-22 was completed prior to the final consultant check. The Translation Review Committee, a group that provides broader believer feedback on the translation, completed their review of Romans and 1 Corinthians in the last few months. The pilot MLE funding was also completed at the end of September, and the team leaders thanked and congratulated the MLE team on all they have accomplished. Pray for the Q team as they revise, proofread, and prepare the translated New Testament text for publication. Continue to pray that God would prepare the hearts of the people who will read and hear this translation in the language of their heart.

실크로드의 기도 요청들은 보안 지역의 척박한 땅을 일구는 사역들을 중보하는 기도입니다. 사역팀이 지속 가능한 문해 사역과 교육 개발을 섬기며 매우 실질적인 방법으로 공동체를 사랑하는데, 이로서 사람들의 삶이 변화되고 주께 영광 돌리게 되리라 믿습니다.
Q 프로젝트: 지난 9월에 신약 전서의 자문위원 점검이 완료된 것을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 베드로 전후서, 요한 일, 이, 삼서 그리고 유다서와 요한계시록은 지난 7월과 9월에 2차 점검 받았고, 최종 점검에 앞서 요한계시록 15-22장에 대한 종합 이해 테스트도 잘 마쳤습니다. 번역에 대한 광범위한 신자 피드백을 제공하는 번역 점검 위원회는 지난 몇 달 동안 로마서와 고린도전서에 대한 점검을 역시 마쳤습니다. 다중언어교육 시범 프로젝트의 자금 지원도 지난 9월 말 완료됐으며, 팀 리더들은 다중언어교육 팀이 이룬 모든 성과에 대해 감사하고 축하했습니다. 번역된 신약 전서 본문을 수정및 교정하여 출판을 위해 준비하는 Q팀을 위해, 자기네 말로 된 말씀을 읽고 들을 사람들의 마음을 하나님께서 준비시켜 주시도록 기도해 주세요.

New staff members for Bible translation projects: Thailand
Praise the Lord for blessing Wycliffe Thai Foundation with a total of 19 staff members and that six of them joined in 2022. Wycliffe Thai personnel serve in Thailand and neighboring countries in Bible translation, literacy and related ministries. Pray for perseverance and wisdom for the translation teams of eight language projects managed by Wycliffe Thai Foundation: Plang, Katang, Ta-Oy, Bisu, Northern Thai, Southern Thai, Bui, and Joy clusters. In order to support these teams and the projects, the leaders of Wycliffe Thai Foundation have been inspired to prayerfully develop plans for building a new office and facilities. Pray for God’s clear directions and provisions as they work on these plans.
성경 번역 프로젝트를 위한 새로운 사역자들: 태국
위클리프태국에는 총19 명의 사역자들이 있으며 이들중 6 명이 금년에 새로 합류하여 하나님을 찬양합니다.
위클리프태국은 태국 뿐아니라 주변국가들의 성경 번역, 문해 및 관련 사역들을 함께 섬기고 있습니다. 이 지역 8개 언어 프로젝트(플랑, 카탕, 타오이, 비수, 태국 북부와 남부, 부이, 그리고 조이 언어권)을 섬기고 있는 위클리프태국 팀원들의 인내와 지혜를 위해 기도해 주세요. 이 팀과 프로젝트를 지원하기 위해 위클리프태국의 리더들이 함께 기도하며 새로운 사무실과 시설을 짓기 위한 계획들을 추진하도록 영감을 받았습니다. 이 계획들을 수행할 때 하나님의 명확한 인도하심과 공급하심이 있도록 기도해 주세요.
Pray for peace and progress: Ethiopia
Wycliffe Ethiopia needs prayers for peace and security especially in the Western and Northern parts of the country where conflict is adversely affecting translation efforts. There is also an urgent need for stability and comfort for the displaced. Wycliffe Ethiopia is engaging in Bible translation, Scripture engagement, and trauma healing projects with people from language communities in neighboring countries who have fled to Ethiopia as refugees. Due to unrest within Ethiopia, some of these people are being subjected to yet another round of displacement within Ethiopia. Pray for these refugees to find safety and provision, and comfort through the Scriptures. Pray for God’s wisdom and strength for Wycliffe Ethiopia staff as they serve a number of language communities in the horn of Africa under very challenging circumstances.

위클리프에티오피아는 불안정한 현지 상황이 번역 사역에 상당한 어려움을 겪는 서부와 북부 지역의 평화와 안전을 위한 기도가 필요합니다. 이재민들을 위한 안정과 위로가 절실히 필요한 상황입니다. 위클리프에티오피아는 난민으로 에티오피아로 피신한 주변 국가 언어 공동체 사람들과 함께 성경 번역, 성경 활용, 트라우마 치유 프로젝트를 섬기고 있습니다. 국내의 불안정한 상황으로 인해 이들 중 일부는 에티오피아 안에서도 또 다시 비자발적으로 이주해야 하는 어려움을 겪기도 합니다. 이 난민들이 성경을 통해 안전과 공급하심 그리고 위로를 찾게 되도록, 상당히 어려운 상황에 처해 있는 이 아프리카의 뿔, 에티오피아에서 여러 언어 공동체를 섬기고 있는 위클리프 팀원들에게 하나님의 지혜와 능력 주시도록 기도해 주세요.
