Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Regional Manager of a sensitive area, respectively (home assignment)
Albert attended the Asia area Wycliffe leaders meeting in Indonesia last November and was able to visit his mother in Hong Kong. Albert is also preparing for the audio Bible recording project of the Rukai people in southern Taiwan. A new recording team will join from Hong Kong in January to prepare together. Please pray for good collaboration when serving this project together with the Taiwan Bible Society, FCBH (Faith Comes By Hearing), and the Rukai Churches. Martha continues to serve for the head office of Wycliffe Taiwan during a term of home assignment. Martha is thankful for the opportunity to help the Youth Group as a mentor of the local church, one-on-one discipleship with a young adult, and community service of the home church as well. Please continue to pray for wisdom and strength for her theological studies, which will resume in January, and for the dental treatment of the inflammation in her gums.

알버트 선교사는 작년 11월 인도네시아에서 있었던 아시아지역 위클리프 대표자 회의에 참석하였고, 홍콩에 거주중인 모친 방문도 할 수 있었음에 감사드립니다. 대만 남부의 소수민족인 루카이 민족 오디오 성경 녹음 프로젝트를 위한 준비 작업에 착수하여, 새로운 녹음팀이 홍콩에서 1월중에 합류하여 함께 준비합니다. 대만 성서공회, FCBH(믿음은 들음에서 나며), 루카이 교회등이 함께 이 프로젝트를 섬길 때 좋은 협력이 일어나도록 기도해 주세요. 마르다 선교사는 안식년 중에도 계속하여 위클리프대만 본부 사역으로 섬깁니다. 출석하는 지역교회의 학생부 멘토링 사역과 청년 자매와의 일대일 양육, 지역사회 봉사 사역에도 참여할 기회 주심에 감사드립니다. 1월부터 다시 재개되는 신학 공부에 필요한 지혜와 강건함 주시도록, 치료중인 치과 신경염증이 잘 치료되도록 계속 기도해 주세요.

The Lees will serve CHURCHgame* for Choongshin Korean Church in NY on Jan 14 and Korean Head Facilitators of Simply Mobilizing US on Jan 16-17. Please pray that, through this program, the Church as Jesus' Body will be renewed with their passion and healthier practices in making disciples of one's own nation (Koreans) and all nations. Nobonob people preparing to receive Bible: Papua New Guinea, United Kingdom & Ireland
The Nobonob people are working hard to prepare for the day to celebrate and launch their Bible. It has taken many years and the participation of lots of people to reach this milestone. In November Wycliffe UK & Ireland informed their prayer partners that there was a Bible paper shortage, which meant that the timing of the launch of the Bible for the Nobonob people was delayed. They requested prayer for God's provision. Celebrate with Wycliffe UK & Ireland and with the Nobonob people that God has answered everyone’s prayers. The printing of the full Bible has gone ahead. Praise God for his goodness and faithfulness to the Nobonob people. Pray that the Nobonob people will, “Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it [they] may grow up into salvation” (1 Peter 2:2). Pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit over the Nobonob people to prepare their hearts to receive their Bible in February 2023.
성경 봉헌을 준비하는 노보놉 사람들: 파푸아뉴기니, 영국, 아일랜드
노보놉 사람들은 자기네 말로 번역된 성경 봉헌과 출판을 위해 열심히 준비하고 있습니다. 이 귀한 이정표에 이르기까지 많은 시간과 사람들의 수고가 있었습니다. 작년 11월 위클리프 영국과 아일랜드는 기도 동역자들에게 성경 번역을 출판할 종이가 부족하다고 알렸고 이는 노보놉 성경 출시 시기가 지연되었음을 의미합니다. 그들은 함께 하나님의 공급하심을 위해 기도를 요청했었고 이제 위클리프 영국과 아일랜드 또한 노보놉 사람들과 함께 하나님께서 이 모든 기도에 응답하셨음을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 성경 전체의 인쇄가 진행되었고 노보놉 사람들을 향한 하나님의 선하심과 신실하심을 찬양합니다. "갓난아기들 같이 순전하고 신령한 젖을 사모하라 이는 그로 말미암아 너희로 구원에 이르도록 자라게 하려 함이라"(베드로전서 2:2) 노보놉 사람들이 이같이 되기를, 오는 2 월에 그들의 언어로 된 성경을 받게 될 노보놉 사람들에게 충만한 성령을 부어 주시기를 기도해 주세요.
World Day of Prayer for Bible Translation celebration: Brazil
The Brazilian Missions Congress - CBM 2022 opened space in its programming to include prayers for the translation of the Bible. The event was organized by the Association of Transcultural Missions of Brazil (AMTB), from November 7 to 11, and brought together some 1,500 people. On November 11, the World Day of Prayer for Bible Translation, a video was released to remember that people of different profiles and professions can contribute to the translation movement. A workshop on oral translation of the Bible, "How are they going to hear if there is no one to read?” was also held at the congress. Praise God for the opportunity to make so many people aware of the need for translation. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send more workers to translate His Word (Luke 10:2).
성경 번역을 위한 세계 기도의 날: 브라질
브라질 선교 대회에서 성경 번역을 위한 기도시간을 행사 프로그램에 포함시켰습니다. 이 행사는 작년 11월 브라질 복합 문화 선교 협회가 주최해 약 1,500명이 모였습니다. 11월 11일 성경 번역을 위한 세계 기도의 날을 맞아 다양한 경력과 직업을 가진 사람들이 번역 운동에 함께 기여할 수 있다는 것을 기억하고자 하는 동영상이 공개되었습니다. "읽는 사람이 없으면 어찌 들어리요?" 라는 성경구술 번역 워크샾도 이 대회중에 열렸습니다. 많은 사람들에게 번역의 필요성을 깨닫도록 기회주신 하나님께 감사드립니다. 말씀을 번역할 더 많은 일꾼들을 보내달라고 추수의 주인이신 하나님께 기도해 주세요. (누가복음 10:2)

A Bible translation consultant, working with Bible translators based in the Central African Republic, expressed his thanks for IT specialists and reliable power and internet connections: “Without it, my work would not be possible.”
중앙아프리카공화국에 기반을 둔 성경 번역가들과 함께 일하는 어느 성경 번역 자문위원은 정보통신 전문가들과 신뢰할 수 있는 전력공급, 그리고 인터넷 연결에 대해 감사를 표했습니다: "만약 이같은 지원이 없었다면, 제 사역은 아마도 불가능 했을 것입니다."
Our CrossVenture program hosted eight groups from churches in seven different states in 2022. Pray that the heart of each CrossVenture participant will be open to the Holy Spirit’s leading.
