Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible translation, Papua New Guinea

Mrs. Dong Sun Han, Joseph’s mother, has been called to her hheavenly home. The viewing and the service were done at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, and the funeral service will be held as soon as the Parks arrive at the funeral home in South Korea. They are flying via Incheon Airport on Sept. 30. Please pray for God's special comfort and peace for the Parks, a renewed hope for eternal life in Christ and overflowing thankfulness as they travel and go through all the funeral processes.

박요섭 선교사 모친 한동선 권사께서 하나님의 부르심을 받으셨습니다. 한국 시간 주일 오후 5시에 입관예배는 드렸고, 박 선교사 부부가 월요일 오전에 인천공항 통해 안치 장소에 도착하는 대로 발인 예배 드립니다. 박 선교사 부부와 가족들에게 어렵고 힘든 중에도 하나님이 주시는 위로와 평안, 영원한 천국의 소망이 가득하며 감사가 넘치도록 함께 기도해주세요.

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)

K project:  Earlier this summer, you prayed for the multilingual education (MLE) school co-ordinator who went to Thailand for an MLE course at Payap University. This was his first time to be trained in another country.  Praise the Lord, he completed the intensive six weeks of training alongside students from a variety of languages in Asia, many of them Christians.  Please pray that these relationships will impact his heart and life. Pray that he can apply what he has learned and pass on new skills to his “K” colleagues.

K 프로젝트: 지난 여름, 여러분은 파얍 대학 다중언어 교육(MLE) 프로그램을 위해 MLE 학교 코디네이터를 위해 중보기도 해주셨습니다. 그가 다른 나라에서 받은 첫 번째 훈련이었습니다. 아시아 여러 다양한 언어권에서 온 학생들, 그들 중 많은 이들이 기독교인들인데, 그들과 함께 6주간의 집중 훈련을 마친 것 얼마나 감사한 일인지 모릅니다. 이러한 좋은 관계들을 통하여 그의 마음과 삶에 영향을 미치도록, 그리고 훈련 받은 것을 적용하고 새로운 기술들을 K 프로젝트 동역자들에게 전수할 수 있도록 손모아주세요.

Preparing curriculum for adaptation: Global

Praise God for the Christian Life Skills curriculum that was developed and used in Africa Area. A volunteer has been found to make the curriculum available online so it can be adapted to languages outside Africa. Pray for the various details that will allow her to work on this project. She needs office space and description of the project with goals and benchmarks. Pray for her to work well with her supervisor so she can begin soon.

적응에 관한 교과 과정 준비: 전 세계

아프리카 지역에서 개발되고 사용된 “기독교인의 삶의 방식” 교안을 인해 하나님을 찬양합니다. 이 교안은 한 자원봉사자에 의해 인터넷에 올려졌고 아프리카 이외의 지역에서도 편집이 가능합니다.. 이 자원봉사자가 진행중인 프로젝트를 위한 세부 작업이 잘 이루어지고, 필요한 사무실, 목표와 벤치마크를 가진 프로젝트에 대한 설명도 필요합니다. 책임자와 잘 협력하여 속히 착수할 수 있도록 기도해주세요. 

Baki New Testament celebration: Vanuatu

Praise God that the Baki New Testament is ready to be launched in Vanuatu. When the books were delivered to the site, a small celebration was held. The main celebration service will be held on October 1. The translation project has taken 37 years, and the people are looking forward to receiving their New Testaments. The New Testament will be available as books, on MegaVoice audio players and as a cell phone app. Please pray for the Word to have a great effect in changing lives in this small community.

바키 신약 성경 봉헌식: 바누아투

바누아투에서 바키 신약 성경을 출시할 수 있게하신 하나님을 찬송합니다. 성경책이 마을에 도착했을 때 봉헌식이 약식으로 이루어졌고 정식 봉헌 예식은 10월 1일에 열립니다. 이 프로젝트는 37년 동안 이어져 왔고 부족 사람들은 자기네 모어 신약을 손꼽아 기다렸습니다. 이 신약은 책과 메가보이스 기기를 통한 오디오 버전과, 스마트폰 용 앱으로 출시됩니다. 이 작은 부족이 하나님의 말씀을 통해 삶을 변혁시키는 큰 역사가 일어나도록 손모아주세요.

Today (Oct 03) staff members will represent JAARS at a large Senior Expo in Charlotte. Pray, as a result, many seniors will visit JAARS, begin praying for us, and become involved in our worldwide ministry.
