Kingdom Friendship (Wycliffe Thai Foundation)

The missions teams of Bethany Chapel in Calgary and the Calgary Korean Presbyterian Church (Rev. Chang-Sun Choi, senior pastor) met together to pursue Kingdom Friendship with Wycliffe Thailand through their collaboration in the future. Two teams/churches shared with one another their partnership experiences with Wycliffe Thailand and decided to continually meet together to develop the collaboration ideas. Please pray that this Canadian-church-owned collaboration will yield abundant fruit by God's grace and that we in Wycliffe Canada will do our best in facilitating whenever we are asked to do.

킹덤 프렌드십 (위클리프 태국)

캘거리에 있는 베다니채플교회와 캘거리한인장로교회 (최창선 담임목사) 선교팀들이 함께 만나 앞으로 두 교회 간의 협력을 통해 위클리프 태국과 킹덤 프렌드십을 함께 협력하기로 했습니다. 두 교회/선교팀들은 서로 위클리프 태국과의 협력 경험을 나누었고, 앞으로 계속 동역을 위해 함께 논의하기로 했습니다. 캐나다 지역교회들이 스스로 협력해 나가는 이 일을 통해 하나님의 은혜로 풍성한 열매가 맺히고, 위클리프 캐나다도 필요할 때마다 잘 조력할 수 있도록 기도해주세요.

Praise for an additional trained staff: Chad
Mr. Roger Dinguemrebeye is the first accredited translation consultant for ATALTRAB. Praise God for this wonderful news. Consultant-checking is a critical step in the process. A lack of translation consultants slows down Bible translation progress. Praise God that Ndouba Njmtebaye completed his training and will serve as a translator in the Niellim Bible translation project with ATALTRAB. Niellim is a language of Southern Chad. Having another trained translator in the project will increase the speed of translation and ensure quality translation.

훈련된 사역자들의 합류에 대한 감사: 차드

로저 선교사는 ATALTRAB (위클리프국제연대 현지 자매단체) 의 최초의 공인 번역 자문위원이 되었는데 이 귀한 소식을 인하여 하나님을 찬송합니다. 자문위원의 점검 과정은 성경번역의 아주 중요한 단계입니다. 번역 자문위원이 부족하게 되면 자연히 성경 번역의 진행 속도도 느려지게 됩니다. 나우바 선교사는 훈련을 마쳐 니엘림 성경번역 프로젝트에서 번역가로 섬기게 되어 감사드립니다. 니엘림은 남부 차드의 한 부족어인데, 이 프로젝트에 또 한 명의 훈련된 번역가가 합류하게 되면 번역의 속도와 함께 수준도 향상될 것입니다.

R200 Programme: Singapore
The Wycliffe Singapore team believes in accurate Scripture translations. Their website says, “Translating a text is not just changing individual words or phrases into another language – it is conveying the original meaning of a text accurately to a reader and hearer.” Pray for the cross-cultural language projects under the R200 programme. The programme is made up of projects that need prayer and financial support located in different parts of the world. Praise God for the churches and individuals who support the projects. Ask God for wisdom and guidance for all involved as the projects are managed and coordinated to provide accurate language translations.
