아시아 A 국 연례 총회 : 한인 선교사들 및 위클리프 캐나다 지도부

코로나 유행병 이전부터 지역 사정으로 인해 중단되었던 SIL A 국 지부 연례 총회가 5년 만에 재개 됩니다. 이번 주에 열리는 이 컨퍼런스에 한인 선교사들을 포함하여 A 국에 파송된 위클리프 캐나다 소속 선교사들과 지도부에서 많이 참여할 예정입니다. 여러 가지 도전이 많은 상황에서도 창의적이고 열정적으로 계속해서 섬겨온 지도자들과 회원 선교사들에게 큰 격려와 위로가 있도록 기도해 주시고, 계속해서 사역의 돌파구가 열리는 것을 볼 수 있게 기도해 주세요.

Annual Conference resumed in 5 years: A-country branch of SIL

The Annual Conference of the A-country branch of SIL has been put on hold since before the Corona Virus pandemic due to unfavorable local conditions. But this year, we will  resume the annual conference, after a five-year hiatus, to start this week. Including Korean Canadian missionaries, many missionaries assigned to A country and senior leaders of Wycliffe Canada will attend the conference. Please pray for great encouragement and comfort for the leaders and member missionaries of the A-country SIL branch who have continued to serve creatively and passionately in the face of many challenges, and pray that we will continue to see breakthroughs in their ministries of Bible translation.

알버트 / 마르다 (이삭과 모세) 선교사: 위클리프 대만, 보안 지역 책임자

지난 6월 초에 대만 남부의 루카이족의 오디오 성경 녹음이 한국성경번역선교회와 위클리프 홍콩의 팀사역으로 잘 마쳤음에 감사드리고, 이제 알버트 선교사는 더커족 오디오 성경 녹음을 위해 준비하고 있는데, 하나님의 은혜로 잘 진행되도록 기도해 주세요. 다음 주에 마르다 선교사는 A국 사역자들을 위한 연례 총회에 두 아들들과 함께 참여하고, 알버트 선교사는 아시아 태평양 지역 리더 회의에 참여합니다. 온 가족의 건강과 여행의 안전과 지속적으로 열매맺는 사역을 위해 기도해 주세요.

Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Regional Manager of a sensitive area, respectively  

We are thankful that the audio Bible recording for the Rukai people of southern Taiwan in early June was finished well as a team effort between Global Bible Translators (Wycliffe Korea), Wycliffe Hong Kong, and Wycliffe Taiwan. Now Albert is preparing for the audio Bible recording for the Ducker people; we ask your prayer that it will go well by God's grace. Next week, Martha will be participating with her two sons in the Annual General Conference for the workers of A Country, and Albert will participate in the Asia Pacific Regional Leaders Meeting. Pray for the whole family's health, travel safety, and continued fruitful ministry.

한인 디아스포라 협력: 줌기도회 및 라이프게임

계속해서 주간기도제목을 통해 성경없는 민족들을 위한 기도에 위클리프 캐나다와 동역해 주셔서 감사드립니다. 7/27일(목)에 격월 줌 기도회를 갖습니다. 많은 분들의 참여를 기대합니다.  오는 8/15-17일에 대한기도원에서 라이프게임이 열립니다. 미주한인예수교장로회 교회 연합 청소년 수련회를 위해 열리는데, 하나님께서 이규준/한진숙 선교사와 함께 섬길 필요한 스탭들을 채워주시고, 참가자들 모두 라이프게임을 통해 각자의 삶을 향한 하나님나라의 가치와 목적을 발견하게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Korean Diaspora Engagement: Zoom prayer meeting & LiFEgame  

We are thankful for the prayer partners who have been praying for the Bibleless peoples with Wycliffe Canada through our weekly prayer bulletin. We will have a zoom prayer meeting on Thursday, July 27 and you are all invited!
Korean Diaspora Engagement team is invited to serve LiFEgame for the rally of high school students from Korean American Presbyterian churches in the Greater Toronto Area, at Dae Han Prayer Group, August 15-17. Please pray for God’s provision for a good number of staff who will serve with the Game Masters, Gyoojun and Jinsook. Pray also that all the participants will have the Kingdom value and purpose for their lives.

위클리프 태국: 교회 협력 사역의 열매 감사!

지난 10년 간 위클리프 태국의 교회 협력 사역의 결과로, 태국의 지역교회들이 위클리프 태국의 성경번역 선교 사역에 대해 더 잘 알게 되었고, 위클리프 태국이 제공하는, 성경이야기 복음 전도, 일일선교여행, 퍼스펙티브스 코스, 카이로스 코스 등의 프로그램들을 통해 더욱 선교적인 교회들로 하나님의 선교에 동참하고 있음에 감사드립니다! 더 나은 사역을 위해 올해 새 사무실 건물을 짓게 되었음에 또한 감사드리며, 조경과 실내 마무리 등을 위해 필요한 재정이 채워지도록 기도해 주세요.

Wycliffe Thai Foundation: Celebrating the Fruits of Church Partnership!

We are thankful that, as a result of Wycliffe Thai Foundation's ministries of church engagement over the past decade, local churches in Thailand have become more aware of Bible translation and its related ministries and are becoming more missional in their participation in God's mission as they are taking Wycliffe Thai Foundation’s provided programs such as Bible story evangelism, one-day mission trips, the Perspectives Course, and the Kairos Course! We are also thankful that the new office building has been built to accommodate Wycliffe Thai Foundation's ministries better. Please pray that the financial needs for landscaping and interior finishing will be met by God's grace.

아시아 태평양 지역 회의

아시아 태평양 지역의 19개 SIL과 위클리프 단체 리더들의 모임이 7/11-14일에 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르에서 열립니다. 약 40명이 참가 예정인데, 아래 내용을 위해 기도해 주세요.

• 참가자들과 조력자들의 안전한 여행과 건강을 위해 
• 심도있는 대화와 상호작용을 위해
• 아시아태평양지역 리더십 팀이 여러 프로그램을 잘 조력할 수 있도록
• 하나님께서 이 회의를 통해 이 지역의 위클리프 및 SIL 단체들이 국제 연대와 더불어 성경번역 선교 사역에 더욱 헌신하게 되도록
• 이 모임을 통해 성경번역 사역에 필요한 인력 동원 문제에 집중하고, 미래의 성경번역 사역이 어떻게 이뤄져야 할지 숙고하도록

Global People Conversation: Asia, Pacific

The Global People Conversation for the Asia-Pacific Area will take place from 11 to 14 July in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The area leadership team is expecting about 40 participants from at least 19 organizations to attend. Please pray:

• for safe travel and good health for all participants, and facilitators 
• for in-depth conversations and good interaction
• for the area leadership team as they facilitate the program
• that God will use this gathering to deepen the commitment of each Alliance organisation to the Bible translation movements and to the Alliance
• that the gathering will focus on the people needs for the ongoing ministry of Bible translation, taking into consideration how Bible translation will be done in the future.

나이지리아: 안전 위협 속에도 계속되는 성경 번역

재 나이지리아 성경 번역회 (NBTT)에서는 여러 성경 번역 프로그램을 진행하고 있습니다. 기술 지원 스탭과 조력자들이 성경번역 사역자들을 돕기 위해 언어 공동체들을 방문하고 있는데, 마기 센트럴 프로젝트의 아다마와 지역, 티압 프로젝트가 진행되고 있는 남주 카두나 지역 등을 포함한 일부 지역에는 심각한 안전 위험이 있습니다. 하나님께서 이 사역자들을 보호해 주시고 직분을 향한 새로운 열정으로 그들을 강하게 붙잡아 주시기를 기도합니다. 하나님께서 NBTT 번역 프로젝트와 팀원들의 안전을 위해 필요한 모든 것을 공급해 주시기를, 그리고 폭력과 여러 다른 위협들이 끝나고 이 사역이 성장하게 되기를 하나님께 기도해 주세요. 5월 29일에 출범한 나이지리아의 새 정부를 위해서 기도합니다. 하나님께서 국가 지도자들에게 지혜를 주셔서 나이지리아에서 하나님의 일들이 왕성하게 일어나는 데 도움이 되는 방향으로 의사 결정과 정책들이 이뤄지도록 함께 기도해 주세요.

Running Bible translation programs despite security issues: Nigeria

Nigeria Bible Translation Trust (NBTT) has several ongoing Bible translation programs. Pray for technical staff and facilitators who face risks travelling to language communities to help with translation. There are serious security risks in some of these locations, including the Margi Central project in Adamawa and the Tyap project in southern Kaduna. Please ask God to protect these staff members and strengthen them with a renewed passion for their work. Pray that God will provide all that is needed for NBTT translation projects as well as protection for the teams. Ask God to put an end to the violence and other threats and to prosper the work. Pray for the new Nigerian government sworn in on May 29. Ask God to grant the country’s leaders wisdom in making decisions and policies that will help his work in Nigeria to flourish.

JAARS Prayerline

Ask God to provide wisdom and discernment for our CrossVenture/Aero team as they plan for weeklong youth aviation camp in August.

Ask God to provide the translation center and vehicle needed by AIDIA, a Peruvian indigenous organization that is working on Bible translation for a number of language groups.

Pray for funding needed to send a JAARS team to the Republic of the Congo and the Central African Republic to assess the transportation needs of SIL and national Bible translation teams.

페루 현지인 성경번역 단체 ‘아이디아’의 사역에 필요한 성경번역 센터와 차량을 허락해 주시도록 기도해주세요.

콩고민주공화국과 중앙아프리크공화국의 SIL과 현지인 성경번역 팀들을 위한 운송수단 필요를 평가하기 위해 잘스에서 팀을 파견하는데, 이에 소요되는 재정이 잘 채워지도록 기도해 주세요.
