박요섭 / 조선향 선교사: 카니누와 성경 번역, 파푸아뉴기니 / 본국 사역

캘거리에 돌아온 후 파푸아 뉴기니로 귀임하기 위해 필요한 건강 체크와 여러 백신 접종 등을 하며 8/12일 출국 준비가 잘 이뤄지고, 초대해주시는 교회들에서 카니누와 성경번역 사역 보고를 하며 바전을 나눌 수 있음에 감사드립니다! 출국일까지 본국 사역 잘 마무리할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 카니누와 팀이 디모데전후서 번역 중입니다. 현지인 번역사역자들이 번역하는 과정에서, 바울을 통해 오늘날의 리더들과 교회에게 주시는 하나님의 음성을 듣고, 세상과 구별되고 십자가와 천국의 본이 되며 복음 전파의 열정으로 불타오르는 제자삼는 자들로 세워지도록 기도해 주세요!

Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible translation, PNG / on home assignment

We are thankful to be back in Calgary, getting ready for our August 12 departure with the necessary health checks and vaccinations to return to Papua New Guinea and to be able to share our ministries of Kaninuwa Bible translation at the churches that invite us! Please pray that we will be able to wrap up our home assignment before our departure. The Kaninuwa translation team is translating 1 and 2 Timothy. Please pray that as they translate, they will hear God's voice through Paul to today's leaders and churches and that they will be built up as disciple-makers who are set apart from the world, modeled after the cross and heaven, and burning with a passion for sharing the gospel.

한인 디아스포라 협력: 줌기도회 및 라이프게임

계속해서 주간기도제목을 통해 성경없는 민족들을 위한 기도에 위클리프 캐나다와 동역해 주셔서 감사드립니다. 7/27일(목) 동부시간 저녁 9시 에 격월 줌 기도회를 갖습니다. 많은 분들의 참여를 기대합니다. 오는 8/15-17일에 대한기도원에서 라이프게임이 열립니다. 미주한인예수교장로회 교회 연합 청소년 수련회를 위해 열리는데, 필요한 스탭들이 2/3까지 채워졌습니다. 나머지 필요한 스탭들도 잘 채워지고, 준비 중인 이규준 한진숙 선교사를 위하여, 참가자들 모두 라이프게임을 통해 각자의 삶을 향한 하나님나라의 가치와 목적을 발견하게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Korean Diaspora Engagement: Zoom prayer meeting & LiFEgame  

We are thankful for the prayer partners who have been praying for the Bibleless peoples with Wycliffe Canada through our weekly prayer bulletin. We will have a zoom prayer meeting 9 pm(EDT) on Thursday, July 27 and you are all invited! Korean Diaspora Engagement team is asked to serve LiFEgame for the rally of high school students from Korean American Presbyterian churches in the Greater Toronto Area, at Dae Han Christian Prayers Group, August 15-17. Thankfully, 2/3 of needed staff are recruited. Please pray for God’s provision for the rest of staff who will serve with the Game Masters, Gyoojun and Jinsook. Pray also that all the participants will have the Kingdom value and purpose for their lives.

동부 라와 언어: 태국

지역 사회의 연초 어린이날 행사에 초대 받아, 동부 라와 언어로 빙고 게임을 시연하고, 동시에 행사 참가자들에게 언어조사 설문지를 배포하고 경품 추첨을 병행하여 문해 사역의 좋은 예를 나눌 수 있었음에 감사드립니다! 아직도 동부 라와 언어를 읽고 쓰는 일에 대해 부정적인 견해를 가진 사람들이 이런 행사를 통해 더욱 긍정적이고 협력하는 자세를 가질 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 라와 언어로 번역된 마가복음 점검을 위해 태국어와 영어로 역번역을 마치게 됨을 감사드립니다! 라와 공동체 내부 마을 점검도 곧 진행되도록 기도해 주세요. 새로 동부 라와 언어 성경번역 팀에 합류한 김동인/현진 선교사가 열심히 라와 언어를 배우고 있습니다. 진전이 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Eastern Lawa: Thailand

We are thankful to have been invited to the community's annual Children's Day event, where we were able to share an excellent example of literacy ministry by demonstrating a bingo game in the Eastern Rawa language while simultaneously distributing language survey questionnaires and raffling off prizes to event participants! Pray those who still have negative views about reading and writing in the Eastern Rawa language will develop a more positive and cooperative attitude through such events. We are thankful that the back-translation of the Gospel of Mark in Eastern Lawa into Thai and English has been completed for the consultant check! Pray that the village check in the Rawa community will soon be underway so they can be ready for the consultant check. The newly joined Eastern Rawa Bible translation team members, Dongin and Hyunjin Kim, are working hard to learn the Rawa language. Pray for their progress.

수어 성경번역: 스페인

스페인에서는 스페인어 수어와 카탈로냐어 수어 청각장애인을 위한 성경번역 프로젝트가 진행 중입니다. 몇 년 내에 이 두 수어에 신약성경이 완역될 수 있도록 기도해주세요. 이 분야에서 성경번역 자문위원이 되고자 하는 룻을 위해서도 기도해 주시고, 포르투갈과 이탈리아에서도 청각장애인을 위한 수어 번역이 시작되고, 이미 수 십 년 경험을 쌓은 스페인의 수어 성경번역 팀이 그 일들을 도울 수 있게 기도해 주세요.

Sign language translation: Spain

Pray for the two Deaf sign language projects in Spain (Spanish Sign Language and Catalán Sign Language), that God will provide the funding for these two projects to be able to complete their New Testaments in the next few years. Pray for Rut, who is training to become a sign language consultant. Pray also for the Deaf sign language communities of Portugal and Italy, which also need Bible translation. Pray that God might open opportunities for the team in Spain, with decades of experience, to help these projects develop.

JAARS is advising and partnering with Asas de Socorro, our mission aviation partner in Brazil, to start advanced training center for Latin American mission aviators. Please keep this work in prayer.

Pray for wisdom for our health clinic staff as they seek to meet the physical and emotional needs unique to those in cross-cultural service.

Pray for our Vision Flights that participants’ eyes are opened to the need and opportunities to serve as mission pilots.

잘스는 ‘아싸 데 쏘코로’(도움의 날개)라고 불리는 브라질의 항공선교 단체에 자문과 협력으로 함께 하여, 남미 지역의 항공 선교 관계자들을 위한 고등 훈련 센터를 시작하려는 계획입니다. 이 일이 잘 이뤄지도록 기도해 주세요.

하나님께서 잘스 센터의 클리닉 사역자들에게 타문화 사역을 감당하는 선교사들의 육체적/정신적 필요를 잘 섬길 수 있는 지혜를 주시도록 기도해 주세요..
