이규준 / 한진숙 선교사: 디아스포라 협력 디렉터, 캐나다

지난 19일부터 열린 카이로스 코스에 다섯 교회에서 여러분들이 참여하게 되었음에 감사드립니다! 또한 CMCA 모자이크 도시 선교사 양성과정에서도 카이로스 코스를 온라인과 대면으로 토론토 지역 카이로스 코스와 함께 진행할 수 있게 되었음에 감사드립니다! CMCA와 여러 교회들의 협력에 감사드리고, 이규준/한진숙 선교사가 다른 조력자분들과 함께 코스를 잘 섬기며, 성경 번역 선교의 비전이 잘 나눠지게 기도해 주세요. 이규준 선교사는 지난 20일부터 30일까지 태국, 치앙마이에서 열리는 심플리 모빌라이징 국제 컨퍼런스에 참여하며, 별도로 위클리프 태국 대표와 만나 교제할 예정입니다. 돌아오는 길에 잠깐 한국에 들려 양가 부모님과 형제들도 뵙고 10월 6일에 돌아 옵니다. 모든 일정과 사역과 만남에 기름 부어주시고, 안전한 여행 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Gyoojun & Jinsook Lee: Director of Diaspora Engagement, Canada

We are thankful that participants from five different churches participated in the in-person Kairos Course for the GTA churches on September 19, and that we can also offer the hybrid Kairos Course through the CMCA's Mosaic City Missionary Training Program alongside the GTA Kairos Course! We give thanks for the partnership between CMCA and these churches as well. Please pray that Gyoojun and Jinsook will teach the course well, along with the other facilitators, and that the vision of Bible translation missions will be shared well. Gyoojun has been attending the Simply Mobilizing International Conference in Chiang Mai, Thailand from September 20 to 30, and will be meeting and having fellowship with Wycliffe Thailand representatives separately. On his way back, he will stop in Korea briefly to visit his parents and siblings on both sides, and will return on October 6. Please pray for anointing on all his schedule, ministries, and encounters, and for safe travels.

실크 로드 프로젝트: 성경번역, 보안지역 (수신자 이외에 배포하거나 온라인에 게시하지 말아주세요)

Q 프로젝트: Q 프로젝트가 완료되어 하나님을 찬송합니다! 보안지역인 현지에서 봉헌 행사를 할 수 없는 상황에서 몇 주 전 캘리포니아에서 아주 특별하고 의미 있는 신약성경 봉헌 예배를 드린 것을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. Q 말로 번역된 신약 성경의 인쇄가 완료되고 현지에 도착한 것 모두 감사드립니다. R 목사가 번역된 성경을 신자들과 관심 있는 사람들에게 잘 배포할 수 있도록, 하나님께서 이 번역본을 사용하셔서 성도들이 주님께 더 가까이 나아가도록, 그리고 많은 새 신자들이 그리스도를 따르는 자로서 하나님 나라에 들어오도록 기도해 주세요! 모친상을 당한 사역자 A 와 유가족들이 슬픔을 극복하고 20년간의 섬김 끝에 이 프로젝트가 끝난 후 새로운 삶에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. Q 공동체와 교우들이 이 신약성경 번역을 환영하고 말씀으로 그 들의 삶이 변화될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. Q 프로젝트 조력자는 이렇게 말합니다 "우리는 주의 말씀이 내 발의 등이요 내 길을 빛으로 인도하는 보물이라는 것을 다시 깨달으며, 그것을 당연한 것으로 여기지 말고 우리 삶에서 하나님의 음성으로 여겨야 합니다. 번역된 신약 성경을 높이 들어 올리자 회중은 모두 자리에서 일어났습니다. 미셸 선교사 (에스아이엘 국제 대표)의 말처럼, “예수님은 더 이상 이방인이 아닙니다. 그분은 Q 부족의 한 사람입니다!"

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)
Q Project: Praise God that the Q project has been completed! Praise God for a very special and meaningful New Testament dedication service in California a few weeks ago, since we can’t have a big celebration in the language area. Praise God for the completed printing of both volumes of the Q New Testament and the arrival of the books in the language area. Pray for Pastor R as he distributes the translated Scriptures to the believers and to other interested people. Pray that God would use the translation to draw believers closer to him and to bring many new brothers and sisters into the Kingdom as followers of Jesus Christ! Pray for A and his family as they grieve the loss of his mother and adjust to life after the end of this phase of the project after 20 years of work. Pray for the Q community and fellowships to welcome this translation of the New Testament and to engage with God’s Word in their lives. The Q project facilitator says: “we were reminded that the Word of God is a treasure that gives to our path and guides our steps. We must never take it for granted but see it as God’s voice in our lives. The congregation rose to their feet as the translated New Testament was held aloft. As Michel Kenmore (Executive Director of SIL) put it, Jesus is no longer a foreigner in this language. He is one of the Q people!”

우리의 플랜 B가 하나님의 플랜 A일 수 있습니다: 프랑스

위클리프 프랑스는 지난 2 년간 완전히 새로운 진취력, 근본적으로 다른 반응들, 집중적인 기도 지원, 하나님의 선교에 참여하고자 하는 교회들에 대한 지원과 섬김 들을 집중적으로 노력해 왔습니다. 팀의 비전 선언문은 다음과 같습니다. “모든 이가 하나님의 사랑으로 변화될 수 있다는 동일한 관점을 공유하는 교회를 섬기는 위클리프 프랑스는 하나님의 말씀인 성경이 각 개인의 언어와 문화로 번역되고 배포되도록 전념을 다합니다.” 성공적인 2년간의 사역 재개와 새로운 사역 분야의 가속화 이후, 지난 2년간 임시 대표로 섬겨온 스튜어트 선교사를 이을 신임 대표를 찾기 위해 청빙 과정을 시작했는데, 아쉽게도 최근 면접에 합격한 유력한 후보자가 이 역할을 맡지 못하게 되었습니다. 때로 우리의 차선책이 하나님의 우선책이었음을 알게 되기도 합니다. 위클리프 프랑스가 다시 후보자를 찾는 동안 이사회와 동역자들과 함께 기도해 주세요.

Our plan B is probably God's plan A: France

Wycliffe France has been on a two-year trajectory into brand new proactivity, radically different responses, focused support in prayer, and support and service to churches seeking to get involved in the mission of God. The vision statement says: Serving churches who share the same point of view that every person can be transformed by the love of God, Wycliffe France is committed to ensuring that the Bible, the Word of God, is translated and distributed in the language and culture of each person. After a successful two-year restart and acceleration into new areas of ministry, Wycliffe France began a recruitment campaign to find a director to replace Stewart Johnson, who had committed to two years as interim director. Unfortunately, the successful candidate from the recent interview was unable to take the role. Often our plan B turns out to have been God's plan A all along. Please join Wycliffe France, its board and supporters in prayer during another round of candidate search.

다양한 형태와 언어로 된 하나님의 말씀: 콜롬비아

전국 문화간 동원 회의가 ‘다양성: 다양한 형태와 언어에 담긴 동일한 메시지'라는 주제로 지난 6월 21일부터 23일까지 콜롬비아 카르타헤나에서 열렸습니다. 이 행사에 콜롬비아, 온두라스, 도미니카공화국, 아르헨티나, 미국, 멕시코, 과테말라에서 온 목회자들과 지도자 등 200여 명이 참석했습니다. 주제로는 관대함, 성경적 청지기 정신, 성경 번역, 배포 및 성경 활용에 대한 교회 참여, 성경과의 상호작용을 위한 기술 활용, 성경 이야기 해설 방법 및 어린이를 성경 번역과 연결하는 교육 방법들이 포함되었습니다. 이 모임을 통해 성경 번역 사역 및 미주 지역 내 하나님의 선교에 대한 교회의 참여를 위한 지원이 지속되도록 결단하게 하심을 인하여 감사드립니다.

The Word of God in multiple forms and languages: Colombia

The National Intercultural Mobilization Meeting was held from 21-23 June in Cartagena, Colombia. The theme was ‘Multiplicity: The Same Message in Multiple Forms and Languages’. Two hundred people attended, including pastors and leaders from Colombia, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Argentina, the United States, Mexico and Guatemala. Topics included generosity and biblical stewardship, church participation in the task of translation, distribution and use of the Scriptures, use of technologies for interaction with the Scriptures, methods for narration of Bible stories and educational tools to link children with Bible translation. Thank God for this meeting and the commitments that were made to continue supporting the ministry of Bible translation and the church's participation in God's mission in the Americas.
