[긴급] L/C 선교사: Z 어 성경 번역, A 국

 A 국 소속 선교사들을 위한 컨퍼런스를 잘 마쳤고, 비전을 새롭게 하고 도전과 새힘 주심을 감사드립니다. C 선교사의 어머니가 폐렴, 심장 판막 치료를 위해 입원 중입니다. 복수가 차서 췌장암으로 의심되는 상황이나, 너무 병약해져 있어 MRI 검사도 어려운 상태입니다. 하나님께서 치유의 은혜를 주시고 C 선교사의 어머니께서 힘을 내어 잘 치료받으실 수 있도록, 멀리 있어 함께 하지 못하는 L/C 선교사에게 위로와 평안을 주시도록 기도해 주세요.

[urgent] L & C: Z Bible translation, A country

We are thankful that L & C have renewed their vision accepting new challenges with God given strength through recently done conference for the members working for A country. C's mother is hospitalized for the treatment of pneumonia and  heart valve but it seems the pancreas cancer is the cause of ascites. To our sorry, she is too weak even to have MRI diagnosis. Please pray that God will heal her and renew her strength that she can fight and overcome the situation to get treated. Also ask God's special comfort for and presence with L & C who are unable to be there with her at this time.

오는 8/15-17일에 대한기도원에서 라이프게임이 열립니다. 미주한인예수교장로회 교회 연합 청소년 수련회를 위해 열리는데, 필요한 스탭들이 1/2까지 채워졌습니다. 나머지 필요한 스탭들도 잘 채워지고, 준비 중인 이규준 한진숙 선교사를 위하여, 참가자들 모두 라이프게임을 통해 각자의 삶을 향한 하나님나라의 가치와 목적을 발견하게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

LiFEgame  

Korean Diaspora Engagement team is asked to serve LiFEgame for the rally of high school students from Korean American Presbyterian churches in the Greater Toronto Area, at Dae Han Christian Prayers Group, August 15-17. Thankfully, 1/2 of needed staff are recruited. Please pray for God’s provision for the rest of staff who will serve with the Game Masters, Gyoojun and Jinsook. Pray also that all the participants will have the Kingdom value and purpose for their lives.

SRA 탁트: 성경 핵심 용어 정리 

할렐루야! 탁트어 성경번역이 시작된지 20년 만에 마침내 성경 핵심 용어가 일관성 있게 정리되었습니다. 특히 복음서와 서신서의 병행구절들이 잘 정리되어, 각기 다른 성경저자들의 독특한 문체를 살리면서도 일관성 있게 성경을 읽을 수 있게 되었음에 감사드립니다.

SRA (Taqt): Key term harmonization

Praise the Lord! The key terms of the Bible have been harmonized and updated for consistency to reflect the best solutions we have since this project begun 20 years ago. The parallel passage harmonization was completed, bringing greater consistency between the parallel passages in the Gospels and the Epistles but leaving the unique flavor of each biblical author intact.

페루 AIDIA, 파스타자 성경번역:역경을 극복하는 헌신

펠릭스가 일곱 살 때 누이가 죽었을 때, 그의 부모님들을 주님께 삶을 헌신했습니다. 역경 중에도 하나님께 헌신했고, 오늘날까지 계속해서 하나님을 섬기고 있습니다. 잠시 방황했던 펠릭스는 17살 때 앓고난 뒤에 그리스도께 삶을 드려 남은 삶을 하나님을 위해 살기로 했습니다. 그리고 올 해 1월 말 성경번역 팀에 합류하기롤 했을 때, 25세였던 남동생이 희귀병으로 죽었습니다. 이런 고통 중에도 펠릭스는 성경번역 팀에 합류했고, 팀에서 섬길 때 도리어 하나님이 주시는 위로와 힘을 얻었습니다. 자기 언어로 하나님을 알고자 했던 그는, 번역된 성경을 가지고 자기 민족에게 돌아가 그들이 하나님의 말씀으로, 로마서 14:11절처럼 변화되는 것을 보는 것이 소원입니다. "기록되었으되 주께서 이르시되 내가 살았노니 모든 무릎이 내게 꿇을 것이요 모든 혀가 하나님께 자백하리라 하였느니라" 

페루 현지인 단체 AIDIA에서 진행하는 Pastaza 성경번역 프로젝트

A passion for translation and a heart for his people: Peru

When Felix Manrique was seven years old his parents gave their lives to Christ after the death of his sister. They sought God in a time of suffering and to this day remain faithful in serving the Lord. As a teenager Felix strayed from God's ways, but after an illness at age 17 he gave his life to Christ and promised to serve God for the rest of his life. At the end of January, when Felix was about to join the translation team for his language, his younger brother, 25, died of a rare disease. In spite of this painful experience, Felix joined the team, where he felt strengthened and comforted by God. He was eager to learn more of God's Word in his own language. His desire is to return to his community to share the translated Scriptures, and to see the whole community transformed by the Word of God. Romans 14:11 says: "For it is written: As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God". Pray that everyone in Felix's community will bow the knee to the Lord Jesus Christ as they hear and read the Word of God in their language.

Praise God for the Isnag Bible dedication in the Philippines along with more than 30 baptisms. Isnag is the heart language of retired JAARS pilot Nard Pugyao. Praise God he could be there.

Pray for wisdom and creativity for the team planning the 2024 programming for CrossVenture|Village, CrossVenture|Coastal, and CrossVenture|Aero.

Pray for the Cohort Golf fellows as they finish up the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course and complete their final paper.

필리핀에 있는 이스낙 언어로 성경전권을 봉헌하고, 봉헌신에서  30명이 .세례받았음에 감사드립니다! (이스낙 언어는 필리핀 출신으로 은퇴한 잘스 비행사/연사 나르드 푸갸오의 모어입니다.)

2024년에 있을 크로스벤처 (정글/해양/항공 운송) 프로그램을 기획 중입니다. 계획을 세우는 팀에게 지혜 주시도록 기도해주세요. 

7월에 잘스 인턴십 프로그램을 시작한 골프 팀이 퍼스펙티브스 코스를 잘 마치고 마지막 보고서를 잘 써내도록 기도해 주세요.
(11개월 인턴십 프로그램, 입소 월에 따라 차례대로 1월 alpha (A)…, 7월 golf (G) 팀으로 명명)
