알버트/마르다 (이삭, 모세) 선교사: 위클리프 대만 대표, 보안국 지역 책임자

알버트 선교사는 거마란 소수 부족의 한 현지인 장로가 번역한 신약과 구약성경의 일부 수작업 번역본을 문서화하는 작업을 진행하고 있습니다. 하나님의 은혜로 순롭게 이루어지도록 기도해 주세요. 마르다 선교사는 10월 4일부터 12일까지 미국에서 모이는 사역지 리더십 훈련 모임에 참석합니다. 안전한 여행을 위해, 그리고 건강하게 사역 잘 감당할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Regional Manager of a sensitive area, respectively

Albert is in the process of documenting some of the handwritten translations of the New and Old Testaments that have been translated by a local elder of the Kavalan people. Please pray that the process will go smoothly. Martha will be attending a field leadership training program in the United States from October 4 to 12. Please pray for her safety and good health during this ministry trip..

실크 로드 프로젝트: 성경번역, 보안지역 (수신자 이외에 배포하거나 온라인에 게시하지 말아주세요)

T 프로젝트: 현지인 번역가 J는 최근에 사복음서를 종합한 "예수님의 생애 이야기" 초역을 마치고 몇 번의 점검을 마쳤습니다. 점검 작업을 도와주러 왔던 이웃 마을 R 목사가 그에게 번역에 대해 어떻게 생각하느냐고 질문했을 때, J는 정말 인상 깊은 대답을 했습니다. "이 번역 작업은 남을 위해서가 아니라 정말 저 자신를 위해서 한 것 같습니다." J는 하나님이 어떤분이신지 바로 알고자 하는 불같은 열정으로 이 사역에 전력을 다해 헌신한 것이 분명합니다. J의 삶에 변혁을 일으켜주신 하나님을 찬양합니다. 동일한 일이 T 언어공동체 전체에서 열매맺고 있습니다. 예수님의 생애 이야기뿐 아니라 T 언어로 번역된 모든 말씀들이 T 언어 공동체 모두의 마음에 울려퍼질 줄 믿습니다.

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)

T Project: J, a T Bible translator, has recently finished his translation of "The Life Story of Jesus," a synthesis of the four Gospels, and it is being checked several times. When Pastor R of the neighboring T language came to help with the checking, he asked J how he felt about the translation ministry. J's response left a lasting impression: "I feel like I'm doing this translation for myself, not just for others, but for me." It was evident that J had become deeply invested in this work, driven by a burning desire to comprehend the true nature of God. Praise be to God for the incredible transformation taking place in James' life! What began as a personal journey of understanding has blossomed into a gift for the entire community. Through J's meticulous efforts and heartfelt dedication, we believe that these translated stories, including the Life of Christ, will resonate with the hearts of many in the T community.

Streams of Prayer 위클리프 국제 연대 격주 기도제목

새로운 주제에 한마음으로 응답: 유럽

유럽의 국제연대 단체들이 외부 동향에 잘 대응할 수 있는 위치를 확보하는 한 가지 방법은 다양한 주제에 대한 토론 모임을 활용하는 것입니다. 현재 5개의 모임이 화상으로 만나고 있습니다. 이 시작을 통해 유럽의 단체들이 함께 각자의 상황에서 변화와 도전에 대한 해결책을 찾을 수 있기를, 또한 모임을 인도하는 리더들이 추진력을 얻고 함께 탐구할 가장 적절한 주제를 잘 분별할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 10월 16-20일에 유럽 연대 단체의 리더들이 루마니아 부쿠레슈티에 모여 성경 번역 운동과 전 세계의 새로운 동향에 대해 함께 숙고할 것입니다. 참가자들이 이 시대를 잘 이해하고 어떻게 대처할지 알 수 있도록(역대상 12:32), 특히 이 모임 동안 하나님의 말씀을 잘 들을 수 있도록 조용한 마음과 정신을 허락해 주시도록 기도해 주세요.

Responding to emerging themes in unity: Europe

One way in which the Europe Area organizations are positioning themselves to respond well to external trends is through discussion tables on different topics. Currently five tables meet virtually. Pray that through this initiative European organizations will help each other to find solutions to challenges and changes in their contexts. Ask God to help each of the table leaders to develop momentum and discern the most pertinent topics to explore together. On 16-20 October, leaders of the Alliance organizations in Europe will gather in Bucharest, Romania to consider emerging trends in the Bible translation movement and around the world. Pray for each of the participants to understand the signs of the times and know what to do about them (1 Chronicles 12:32). Ask God to help each person to have quiet hearts and minds which are well positioned to hear him speak, especially during these meetings.

교회와의 협력: 인도네시아

미나하사 복음주의 교단 (GMIM)의 성경 번역 센터인 푸삿 성경 번역 센터 (PPA)와 인도네시아 교회들이 긴밀히 협력하게 하심을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 최근 마팔루스(인도네시아의 서로 돕는 전통) 연례 모금 행사를 성공적으로 개최하여 90명이 기도와 재정으로 동참하기로 했으며 이를 통해 성경 번역 홍보 및 훈련에 필요한 분야에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것입니다. 지난 6월 선교와 성경 번역에 대해 훈련받은 GMIM 교회의 목회자 292명을 위해, 그리고 더 많은 교회가 성경 번역 사역에 헌신하고 적극적으로 동참하기를 결단하게 되도록 기도해 주세요.

Working with churches: Indonesia

Praise God for the close connection of Pusat Penerjemah Alkitab (PPA), the Bible translation centre of Gereja Masehi Injili Minahasa (GMIM), with churches in Indonesia. The recently held a Mapalus (Indonesian tradition of helping one another) annual fundraising event that successfully reached 90 individuals to get involved through prayer and financial support. This will help address needs of Scripture translation promotion and training. Pray for the 292 pastors of GMIM churches who went through the missions and Bible translation awareness training in June. Ask the Lord to inspire more churches to commit to, and actively participate in, the ministry of Bible translation.

Praise God! At our recent Scripture Celebration event, we recognized completed translations of New Testaments and other Scripture materials for 33 language groups around the world.

Pray for our Accounting department staff as they complete year-end procedures for FY23 and prepare for the annual financial audit.

A Global Operations team is currently in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to assess their transportation needs. Pray for safe travel and productive meetings.
