윤기태 (/양희숙) 선교사: 한인 디아스포라 교회 협력 / 인사 행정

윤 선교사가 한국 방문과 여러 변화 가운데서도 계속해서 성경 번역 선교를 위한 동원 및 인사 관련 사역을 감당하게 해주심과, 올 초부터 ‘콘스탄트 콘텍’ 이라는 이메일 전문 마케팅 프로그램을 훈련받아 주간 기도 제목을 더 동원에 효과적인 방법으로 발송하게 됨을 감사드립니다! 많은 기도 동역자들의 동역에 감사드리며, 이번 여름에 잘스의 채플린 사역 담당자들과 기도 동역에 대해 함께 의논할 예정인데 잘스와 더 의미 있는 기도 동역을 위해 좋은 협력이 지속되도록, 윤 선교사의 사역을 통해 더 많은 사람들이 성경 없는 민족들을 향한 하나님의 열정을 갖고 성경 번역 운동에 동참하도록 기도해 주세요.

Daniel (/Helen) Yoon: Engagement & Application Advisor for Korean Diaspora

We are grateful that Daniel continues to lead the mobilization and personnel work for the Bible translation mission amidst his visit to Korea and other changes. Earlier this year, he was trained in a professional email marketing program called Constant Contact to send out weekly prayer bulletins more effectively regarding mobilization! We are grateful for the partnership of many prayer partners and will be discussing prayer partnerships with the chaplaincy staff at JAARS this summer. Through this meeting, we ask your prayer for continued collaboration for more meaningful prayer partnerships with JAARS. Please pray that Daniel's ministry will inspire more people to join the Bible translation movement and pray with God's passion for Bibleless people.

알버트/마르다 (이삭, 모세) 선교사: 위클리프 대만 대표, 보안국 지역 책임자

알버트 선교사는 지난 5월에 있었던 인공지능을 이용하는 번역 워크숍 후에 시라야족과 다른 대만의 소수민족 성경 번역 팀들을 도울 수 있는 일들을 준비하고 있습니다. 다음 주간에는 대만 위클리프 이사 회의로, 7월 15일 주간에는 태국에서 모이는 SIL 파트너십 회의에 참석할 예정입니다. 마르다는 7월 22일부터 27일까지 보안지역 사역 팀들과 모이고 섬기기 위해 해외로 출타하게 됩니다. 사역 팀들이 어려운 환경 가운데 사역할 때 하나님의 보호하심과 은혜를 경험하도록 기도해 주시고, 알버트와 마르다 선교사 부부가 안전하고 건강하게 다녀오도록 기도해 주세요. 7월 말부터 시작되는 이삭(고교 3학년)의 대입 준비를 위한 하계 보충수업을 잘 감당하도록, 모세 또한 하계 보충 수업과 복음 캠프에 잘 다녀올 수 있도록, 두 아들 모두 주의 음성에 귀 기울이고 믿음으로 성장하도록 기도해 주세요.

Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Language Program Manager of a sensitive area, respectively

After a translation workshop in May on using AI-aided drafting to translate a Bible, Albert is preparing to help Siraya and other Taiwanese ethnic minority Bible translation teams. Next week, he will participate in the Board of Directors of Wycliffe Taiwan meeting and attend the SIL Partnership meeting in Thailand on July 15. Martha will travel overseas from July 22 to 27 to meet with teams she serves in a sensitive area. Please pray for these ministry teams to experience God's protection and grace as they minister in challenging environments. Pray that Albert and Martha will have a safe and healthy trip. Pray for Isaac (a senior in high school) to do well in his University prep classes starting in late July; for Moses to do well in his summer supplemental classes and VBS camp; and for both sons to listen to the Lord's voice and grow in faith.

실크 로드 프로젝트: 성경번역, 보안지역 (수신자 이외에 배포하거나 온라인에 게시하지 말아주세요)

NW 프로젝트: 사역팀은 훈련생들의 관심사에 대해 더 많이 배우고 있습니다. 각 훈련생은 각자 고유한 기술을 가지고 있어 협력적인 분위기를 조성하는 데 도움이 됩니다. 여성들은 학습 속도가 매우 빨라서 예상보다 짧은 시간 안에 작업을 완료하며, 글을 읽는 것과 교육을 중요하게 생각하며 가정 내 위생과 건강 관리의 중요성에 대해서도 잘 인식하고 있습니다. 이들은 기본적인 건강과 위생에 대해 배우기 시작했는데 벌써 참가자가 100명을 넘었습니다. 스토리 펠로십 그룹(SFG)은 훈련 중인 컨설턴트 코치가 스토리를 확인한 후 곧 사역이 시작됩니다. 훈련생들의 영적 성장과 재봉 기술을 잘 배울 수 있도록, 또한 봉제 센터들을 방문하기 위해 오토바이를 타고 이동하는 사역자의 여행 중 안전을 위해 기도해 주세요.

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)

NW Project: The team has been learning more about the trainees' interests. Each trainee brings unique skills, which help develop a collaborative atmosphere. The women learn so quickly that they finish tasks in less time than we expected. The women are literate, value education, and are aware of hygiene and healthcare in the home. They have started learning about essential health and hygiene and have learned numbers up to 100. The Story Fellowship Groups (SFGs) will start after the consultant-in-training coach checks the story (s). Please pray for the trainees' spiritual growth and learning to sew. Also, pray for the supervisor's safety as he travels on his motorcycle to visit the sewing centers.

기독교 라디오 방송국에서 성경 번역 사역에 대하여 나눔: 파라과이

성경 번역에 대한 더 많은 정보를 나누기 위해, 파라과이에서는 전국적으로 방송되는 기독교 라디오 방송국에서 매주 프로그램을 진행하고 있습니다. 이 프로그램은 성경의 중요성과 번역 사역과 관련된 교회의 인식을 높이기 위해 성경 번역 사역, 필요성 및 도전에 대하여 이야기합니다. 프로그램은 다음과 같은 주제를 다룹니다: '성경-하나님의 책', '성경은 어떻게 우리에게 전해졌는가', 특정 히브리어와 희랍어 단어 분석 등으로 방송 주제들을 다룹니다. 프로그램이 방송될 수 있는 기회 주신 하나님께 감사드립니다. 더 많은 사람들이 성경 번역 사역에 대해 알게 되고, 이 프로그램을 통해 청취자들과 교회가 성경 번역 운동을 후원하고 함께 섬기려는 열망을 일깨울 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Sharing about Bible translation in Christian radio programs: Paraguay

Near the end of 2023, staff from Wycliffe Canada’s partner organization, AIDIA Peru, traveled to remote locations along the Pastaza River to hold a training session for Sunday school teachers in the Northern and Southern Pastaza communities. About 130 children participated in Bible-based activities and teachings centered around themes like the creation story, the birth of Jesus, and the cross. In Southern Pastaza, teachers launched a Sunday school in the dining room of their lead pastor’s house. Each Sunday, 12 to 15 children gather to hear about God’s love and plan of salvation through Jesus and to learn how to pray. Praise God for AIDIA staff members, local translators, and churches who are passionate about further Bible translation for their Pastaza communities! Ask God to bless the seeds planted in young hearts and minds so that many Pastaza children will come to know Christ.

자선 달리기로 동역: 슬로바키아

지난 6월 초, 슬로바키아의 반스카 비스트리카에서 제9회 위클리프슬로바키아 연례 자선 모금 달리기 행사가 열렸습니다. 이 행사는 두 개의 지역 교회, 두 개의 교회학교 (루터교 학교와 크리스천 초등학교)와 두 개의 자선 단체 (위클리프슬로바키아, 어린이를 위한 희망)가 공동 주최했습니다. 슬로바키아의 로마 소수민족 어린이들을 위한 성경 번역 프로젝트와 사회사업을 위해 모금되었습니다. 위클리프슬로바키아 사역자들은 참가한 교회들, 학교들, 단체들의 협력과 함께 열정적으로 참여한 사람들에게, 그리고 이 연례 행사를 위해 기꺼이 자신의 시간과 에너지를 헌신해 주신 분들께도 감사드립니다. 또한 매년 참가자들을 후원해 주시는 귀한 기부자들에게도 감사드립니다.

Partners in Hope Run: Slovakia

On 1 June, the ninth Wycliffe Slovakia annual Partners in Hope Run was held in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia. This benefit run was co-organized by two local church congregations, two church schools (Lutheran Gymnasium and Christian Primary School Narnia), and two charities (Wycliffe Slovakia and Hope for Children). Money was raised for Bible translation projects and social work with Roma children in Slovakia. Wycliffe Slovakia staff are grateful for this collaboration of churches, schools, and organizations and for the passionate people involved. Thank God for those willing to sacrifice their time and energy to organize this annual event. Thank God also for the willing donors who sponsor participants each year.

JAARS Prayerline

Skill, knowledge, and experience are crucial elements that can make all the difference when approaching missions in a challenging new setting. Especially when your role is to solve critical logistical problems for workers already there. JAARS provides focused, specialized training that is vital in many different areas for those preparing for work in Bible translation and related ministries. Please pray that God will mightily use our instructors to provide practical, helpful training for those preparing for missions work.
