Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Regional Manager of a sensitive area, respectively
One thousand units of Proclaimer, supported by Faith Comes By Hearing (FCBH), finally arrived in Taiwan last week after months of delay due to the custom clearance and flight cancellations at the shipping country. Hallelujah! Thanks for your prayers. Please continue to pray for the good use of Proclaimers in the essential places, especially for those minority churches such as Hakka, Tsou and Amis. In fact, they got a great story that this audio Bible has kept a believer's aged mother safe at home as she began to love hearing God's Word. Albert's medical team mission to the Amis has been cancelled due to the Covid re-proliferation, but the audio Bible app (with Proclaimer) will continue to be distributed. Pray also for Martha’s ministry for a one-on-one Bible study session and a sermon delivery in the youth group. And pray that Isaac and Moses continue to grow their faith through the Word.

동역단체인 믿음은 들음에서 나며 (FCBH) 에서 지원받은 오디오 성경기기 (프로클레이머: 여러 소수부족 언어를 메모리칩으로 장착) 천 대가 코로나로 인해 배송지에서의 통관및 항공편 결항 사태로 인해 지연되었다가 지난 주간에 드디어 대만에 도착되었습니다. 할렐루야! 꼭 필요한 곳, 특히 하카, 추족, 아미스족등 소수 민족 교회들에서 성경활용에 잘 사용할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 어느 신자의 연세 많으신 어머니가 (여기 저기 헤매시던 분) 오디오 성경에 심취해서 이제 안전히 댁에 거하면서 하나님 말씀을 듣고 있다는 간증도 있었습니다. 코로나 재확산으로 인해 5월중 예정이었던 알버트 선교사의 아미스족 치과 의료봉사는 취소되었지만 오디오 성경앱 배포 사역은 계속할 예정입니다. 마르다 선교사가 진행중인 대학생과의 일대일 양육, 교회에서의 말씀 나눔에 기름부으심이 있도록, 이삭과 모세 두 아들들도 계속해서 믿음으로 잘 자라가도록 기도해 주세요.

Cree initiative: Naskapi
The Naskapi community in Quebec desires to have the whole Bible in their language. Much work remains to be done in the Old Testament. Some progress is happening, but there are obstacles. The greatest need is workers—trained translators who will be able to serve for many years. Please pray to the Lord of the harvest for more Naskapi workers to serve as Bible translators. Pray that the new readers will continue to read the Naskapi New Testament. Ask the Lord to work in hearts as a result of reading the Scriptures. Pray for new people to join the Naskapi translation team to replace the people who have retired or moved on to work on other things. Thank the Lord for the 30 years Bill and Norma Jean have dedicated to serving the Naskapi people. Thank the Lord for the positive changes in the community as a result of the Naskapi people having Scripture in their own language.

퀘벡의 나스카피 공동체는 자기네 말로 된 성경 전권을 갖기를 원합니다. 구약 번역을 위하여는 아직 할 일이 많고 어느 정도는 진척이 있지만 여전히 장애물들이 있습니다 가장 큰 일은 일꾼들인데 수년 동안 사역을 감당할 수 있는 훈련된 번역가들이 절실히 필요합니다. 더 많은 나스카피 일꾼들이 번역가로 섬길 수 있도록 추수의 주께 기도해 주세요. 새로운 사람들이 나스카피 신약을 계속 읽게 되도록, 그리고 말씀을 통하여 그 마음에 성령이 역사하도록, 새로운 일꾼들이 번역팀에 합류하여 은퇴하거나 다른 일을 위해 이사한 사람들을 대체할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 빌과 노마 진 선교사 부부가 나스카피 사람들을 위해 헌신한 지난 30년을 주님께 감사드리며, 나스카피 사람들이 자기네 모어로 된 성경을 갖게 됨으로 인하여 마을 공동체에 보여준 긍정적인 변화를 인하여도 감사를 드립니다.

Romani translation project planning progress: Romania
The committee of the Standard Romani Bible Translation project, in partnership with Wycliffe Romania and SIL, is preparing for the official start of the translation work, on the 1 October 2021 in Romania. A number of translators are already selected and they have begun training. Awareness raising workshops with Roma Christian leaders in different regions of the country were recently held in April and May. Ruben Dubei, director of Wycliffe Romania, shared: “We have worked hard on the planning and organization of the project. Progress was made on the budget for the first three years and on partnership development to fill the various roles in the project.” Please pray that God blesses these efforts with success, that the Roma language community embraces the vision for translation, and that financial partners step forward to make this venture possible.
로마니 번역 프로젝트 진척 상황: 루마니아
표준 로마니 성경 번역 프로젝트 위원회는 위클리프루마니아, 에스아이엘과 협력하여 금년 10월 1일부터 공식적인 번역 사역 착수를 준비하고 있고 이미 많은 통역가들이 선발되어 훈련을 시작했습니다. 지난 4-5월에 전국의 로마 기독교 지도자들이 함께 모여 프로젝트의 인식 제고를 위한 워크숍이 열렸습니다. 위클리프루마니아 대표인 루벤 선교사는 "기획과 조직을 위해 열심히 일해 왔고 프로젝트의 다양한 역할들에 필요한 처음 3년간의 예산과 후원자 개발에 대한 진전이 있었다”고 말했습니다. 프로젝트를 위한 이러한 노력들이 성공하도록, 로마어 공동체가 번역에 대한 비전을 잘 수용하여 이 벤춰를 가능케 할 재정 동역자들을 세워 주시도록 기도해 주세요.
Nobonob Bible nearing completion: Papua New Guinea
Praise the Lord for the progress that was made in the Nobonob translation project. The consultant checking of the Old Testament was completed in October 2017. The New Testament that was launched in 1990 needed revision, so the team committed to reading through the New Testament. They started working with a consultant in 2019 via email correspondence to update and make changes. This work was mostly completed in March. Pray for the team as they work on the final edits and prepare for typesetting of the complete Nobonob Bible in August. Pray for strength and stamina for each of the team members. Ask the Lord to protect their computers and provide stable internet connection as they use Skype to interact with their translation advisors in the United States.
완역을 앞둔 노보놉 성경: 파푸아뉴기니
노보놉 부족어 번역 프로젝트의 진전을 인하여 하나님을 찬송합니다. 구약의 자문위원 점검을 2017년에 마쳤고, 1990년에 봉헌한 신약 개정이 필요하여 팀원들이 통독에 열중하였습니다. 2019년부터 이메일 교신을 통한 자문 위원과의 업데이트및 개정을 시작했고 이 과정은 지난 3월에 대부분 마쳤습니다. 최종 편집과 8월까지 마칠 인쇄용 조판 작업이 잘 준비되도록, 팀원들의 강건함과 체력을 잘 유지하도록, 미국에서 원격으로 사역하는 자문 위원들과 스카이프(인터넷전화)로 교신하는데 컴퓨터를 보호해 주시고 인터넷 연결이 원활하도록 손모아 주세요.
