June Virtual Prayer meeting: Ndop Cluster project, Cameroon
Wycliffe Canada is continuing with a monthly online prayer meeting on the second Saturday of the month. It will start on June 12 at 10 am MDT. This month, we will be focusing on the ministry of the Ndop Cluster project in Cameroon. The goal of the Ndop Cluster project is to translate the New Testament, engage the communities with the Gospel of Luke film, and promote mother-tongue literacy. In spite of insecurity and Covid-19, ministry is advancing in ten of the Ndop language communities in Cameroon. We would encourage you to invite anyone who you sense would have an interest to come to this prayer meeting. Please pray that many will participate in this prayer time, and see more active partnership developed as a result.
6월 온라인 기도회: 엥돕 부족어권 프로젝트, 카메룬
위클리프캐나다 월례 온라인 기도회가 6월 12일 토요일 오전 10시 (중부시간)에 열립니다. 이번 달에는 카메룬의 엥돕 부족어권 프로젝트를 위한 모임입니다. 엥돕 프로젝트의 목표는 다중 언어 프로젝트에 참여하는 10 개 언어로, 신약 성경 번역, 공동체들의 누가복음 영화 제작 참여 격려, 문해 교육 증진 등입니다. 코로나 대유행병 중에도 카메룬의 엥돕 평지에 있는 10개 언어 공동체에서 이 사역에 진전을 보이고 있습니다. 더 많은 캐나다의 교회와 개인들이 이 귀한 사역에 동참할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 기도회 참여를 원하는 분은 윤기태 선교사에게 미리 연락 주세요. daniel.yoon@wycliffe.ca

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)
“K” Project: Thank you for your prayers. The MLE (Multilingual Education) school was able to fully open on February 1st as hoped. The staff worked hard to complete the school year at the end of March, just as COVID began surging again in the country. Despite all the challenges and interruptions of the last year, several students were ready to be promoted to kindergarten and Class One. Please pray for protection for the project staff, students, and their families. Pray that the “K” people will take preventative measures whenever possible. Pray that they will have access to vaccines and will not fear them. Pray that the Lord would end the pandemic, especially among the poor with so few resources. Please continue to pray about the approval process for receiving international funds long term. Pray that final approval is granted. We give thanks that international transfers have been possible these last months. Pray that this will continue.

“K” 프로젝트: 여러분의 중보에 감사드립니다. 다중 언어 학교는 예정대로 2월초에 대면 수업으로 개교했고 코로나가 재 확산하기 직전인 3월 말에 종강이 되도록 교직원들이 열심히 섬겼습니다. 작년에 있었던 많은 도전들과 방해에도 불구하고 일부 학생들은 유치부와 1학년으로 진급할 준비가 되었습니다. 사역자들과 학생및 학부모들을 지켜주시도록, “K” 공동체가 방역에 최선을 다하도록, 백신을 속히 공급받고 아울러 접종을 두려워하지 않도록, 주께서 이 역병을 속히 거두어 주시도록, 특별히 가진 것이 별로없는 이 가난한 사람들에게 긍휼을 베푸시도록 기도해 주세요. 해외에서 송금받는 승인 절차가 계속 유효하도록, 최종 승인이 이루어 지도록, 그리고 지난 수개월간 자금 수령이 가능했음에 감사드리며 이 일들이 계속 가능하도록 손모아 주세요.

A new start, and new ways to connect: Wycliffe France
As Wycliffe France begins the process of starting afresh as an organization, Bible translation remains its heartbeat. With a growing virtual and WhatsApp prayer following, Wycliffe France has tried a new way to directly connect French churches with translation project staff. Recently a church in Nimes sent a financial gift to a project in a country that is difficult to access. Thanks to Zoom, project staff recorded a thank you video in which one of the translators spoke in his heart language, which was then interpreted into French! Pray for Wycliffe France. It is a new day for the organization, with a brand new message that the Mission of God is a gift from God to his churches. Their dream is that Bible translation will become the heartbeat of French churches, and not just something they send Wycliffe staff to do. Please pray that the Lord blesses the church in Nimes for their generosity and that many more videos will be shared between translation project staff and churches throughout France as partnerships blossom.

Protection during instability: Central African Republic
The Central African Republic (CAR) has 69 languages. The Association Centrafricaine pour la Traduction de la Bible et l' Alphabétisation (ACATBA), in partnership with churches, has active translation projects in 11 of these languages. Pray for the active ministry staff (translators, survey and literacy staff): The war, the violence and looting in CAR have not left ACATBA untouched (killings, thief of vehicles and motorbikes, etc.). It is therefore important to pray for the protection of staff, for their health, and for zeal to serve with fear of the Lord and not people. Pray that every linguistic community living in CAR will have access to the Word of God in their mother tongue, and that their lives will be transformed to the glory of Christ.
