Joseph & Joyce Park: Kaninuwa Bible translation, Papua New Guinea
By God's grace, the first draft of the Gospel of John has been completed. The time taken to translate has been shortened since the Kaninuwa translation team divided into several groups and translated each group's portion simultaneously. What is more meaningful is that Kaninuwa translators team studied and translated for themselves. For the first time, they referred to other versions and references on their own, read, and studied, and then translated the material in individual groups. Halleluiah! Please pray that the last draft of Chapter 20-21 of the Gospel of John will arrive at the Alotau Center soon. Pray also for the Kaninuwa translation team as they start the translation of the Gospel of Matthew. Pray for unity of the team as the members Soktes, Jack, Levy, Simon, and Margaret, read and study the Gospel of Matthew together, helping and serving one another guided by the Holy Spirit.

하나님의 은혜로 금년 초에 시작한 요한복음의 초벌 번역이 완성되었습니다. 이전에 비하여 번역 시간도 많이 단축되었지만, 더욱 의미 있는 것은 카니누와 번역팀이 스스로 공부하며 번역한 것이 특별합니다. 처음으로 번역팀 스스로 다른 자료들을 참고하고, 읽고 공부한 후 그룹별로 나누어 번역함으로 시간 단축의 효과를 본 것입니다. 할렐루야! 요한복음 20-21장 초벌 번역 자료가 속히 알로타우 센터로 잘 도착할 수 있도록 기도해 주시고, 마태복음 번역을 시작하는 속테스, 잭, 레비, 사이몬, 마가렛이 함께 성경을 읽고 공부할 때 성령으로 하나되고, 서로 잘 돕는 역사가 일어나도록 기도해 주세요.

Cree initiative: Oji-Cree
Praise God for the 20 cultural videos that are available on the website, 10 of which are fully subtitled. The community response has been very positive. Pray that this would be used in many positive ways. Please pray for the ongoing translation of the Gospel of John and John’s Epistles: that God will guide the translator’s understanding and give them insight into how to faithfully express His word in their language. Pray that God will continually use the translated scriptures in Oji-Cree to bring healing and change in people’s lives. Pray also for the ministry of Matthew & Caitlin Windsor: that they can be a stable influence in the community pointing people to God.

20개의 문화 관련 동영상, 그 중 10개는 자막까지 완성되어 웹사이트에서 볼 수 있게 된 것을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 공동체의 반응은 매우 고무적인데 더 많은 긍정적인 방향으로 이러한 동영상들이 사용되도록, 진행중인 요한복음과 요한 서신서들이 계속 번역될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 하나님께서는 번역자에게 말씀을 잘 이해 하도록, 그리고 어떻게 자기 모어로 잘 표현할 수 있는지에 대한 통찰력을 주십니다. 오지-크리 원주민어로 이미 번역된 성경을 통하여 지속적으로 치유해 주시고, 삶을 변화시키도록, 또한 윈저 선교사 부부의 사역이 공동체 안에서 사람들을 하나님께로 인도하는 선한 영향력을 끼칠 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

Prayer Initiative: Romania
This summer Wycliffe Romania organized a Wycliffe mission camp. Through practical activities, the participants bonded closely with each other. They grew in their knowledge of God’s mission and in realizing what a great honour it is to participate in his mission. Participants learned more about God’s heart for the unreached peoples of the world and were deeply touched by the need for prayer for such a great task. They set up a WhatsApp prayer group, which daily shares prayer requests. Their initiative encouraged Wycliffe Romania to organize a virtual prayer meeting once a month. Wycliffe Romania staff desire that this flame of prayer for the Bible translation movement will advance the Gospel in every nation and will include as many people as possible so that the number of prayer groups will increase. Thank the Lord for this fruit from the camp, and pray for this prayer initiative to flourish.
기도 운동: 루마니아
올 여름 위클리프 루마니아는 위클리프 선교 캠프를 열었습니다. 캠프 참가자들은 실제 선교 활동들을 경험해 보면서 서로 긴밀한 유대감을 형성할 수 있었고 하나님의 선교에 대한 지식을 얻게 된 것과 선교에 동참하는 것이 얼마나 큰 영광인지를 깨닫게 되었습니다. 미전도 종족들을 위한 하나님의 마음을 더 많이 알게 되었고, 이러한 지상 과업을 위한 기도의 중요성이 이들의 마음을 감동시켰습니다. 이들은 매일 기도 제목들을 공유하는 왓츠앱 기도 모임을 만들었으며 이를 계기로 위클리프 루마니아 또한 한달에 한번 온라인 기도회를 시작하게 되었습니다. 위클리프 루마니아 사역자들은 이러한 성경번역운동을 위한 기도의 불꽃이 세계 복음화를 앞당기고 최대한 많은 사람들이 함께 모이는 기도 모임들이 늘어나게 되기를 소망합니다. 위클리프 캠프의 열매로 인해 주님께 감사드리고 이 기도 운동이 활성화 되기를 기도해 주세요.
Monday morning prayer for Bible translation: Caribbean
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic Wycliffe Caribbean staff have put a greater emphasis on prayer. On February 2021 Wycliffe Caribbean launched Monday Morning WhatsApp Voice Note Prayer. A prayer is recorded each Monday morning by one of the translation teams on behalf of a different people group and shared on WhatsApp. Representatives of the other teams also agree in prayer with an “Amen”, praying hands symbol or words of support. Through this initiative, staff are able to pray together regardless of travel restrictions or being unable to meet face-to-face. They pray for people groups with no access to the Bible using the prayer guide “The Finish Line 2021” from Wycliffe USA. It is a great way to come together at the beginning of the week to commit the work of Bible translation to the Lord. Praise God for the enthusiasm of the Wycliffe Caribbean teams, as they continue to call upon the Lord on behalf of those without access to God’s Word.
성경 번역을 위한 월요 아침 기도회: 카리브해
이 대유행병기간중 위클리프 카리브해 사역자들은 기도 사역에 더 큰 중점을 두고 있습니다. 지난 2월초부터 월요일 아침 왓츠앱 음성 메모 기도회를 처음 시작하고 그후로 매주 월요일 아침 다른 종족 그룹을 대표하는 번역팀원들이 한명씩 돌아가며 기도제목들을 올리고 왓츠앱을 통해 공유합니다. 다른 기도팀들도 기도할 때 "아멘"이나 “기도하는 손” 모양의 이모티콘이나 격려의 말로 함께 동참합니다. 이 기도 모임으로 인해 여행 규제들과 대면 모임이 어려운 상황에 상관없이 사역자들이 함께 기도할 수 있게 되었습니다. 또한 이모임에서는 위클리프 미국의 기도 지침 자료인 피니쉬 라인을 통하여 성경 없는 종족들을 위해 기도하고 있습니다. 한 주가 시작되는 월요일에 함께 모여 기도함으로 성경번역 사역을 하나님께 온전히 맡겨드리는 아주 좋은 방법입니다. 카리브해 사역팀들이 열심으로 성경 없는 종족들을 위하여 쉬지않고 부르짖을 수 있음에 하나님을 찬양합니다.

Praise God! The Cessna 206 that our Aviation maintenance team recently upgraded has been delivered to SAMAIR and will soon be serving Bible translation and other ministry in Peru.
최근 잘스의 항공 정비팀이 전면 업그레이드 한 세스나 206 경비행기가 남미항공선교 단체로 인도되어 곧 페루에서 성경번역및 관련 사역들을 섬기게 됩니다. 하나님을 찬송합니다!
Praise God! With support from JAARS, the Wycliffe Ethiopia center received much-needed equipment that protects the files of Bible translators from damage and loss during power outages.
