Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): Director of Wycliffe Taiwan and Regional Manager of a sensitive area, respectively
Albert was re-elected to serve as president for another two-year term at the board meeting of Wycliffe Taiwan in October. Albert went on a medical outreach team mission twice, in October and December, with the Taiwanese Christian Dentist Association. The first trip was for a mountain village, an indigenous area, and the second trip was for Indonesian workers in the northern port of Taiwan. In order to communicate with foreign workers working on fishing boats, Albert also prepared to record and learn simple Indonesian language necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of toothache. Please pray that God will send someone to take over the position in two years, and that Martha and Albert will keep serving faithfully in the New Year.

알버트 선교사는 지난 10월 대만 위클리프 성경번역회 이사회에서 대표직을 연임하도록 선임되었습니다. 알버트 선교사는 10월과 12월 두 차례 대만 기독교 치과 의사회와 함께 의료봉사를 다녀왔습니다. 첫 번째는 산촌의 원주민 지역이었고, 두 번째 의료 봉사는 대만 북쪽 항구에서 인도네시아 노동자들을 위한 것이었습니다. 어선에서 일하는 외국인 노동자들과 의사소통을 위해 치통의 진단과 치료에 필요한 간단한 인도네시아어를 녹음하고 익히는 사전준비도 하였습니다. 이번 임기가 끝나는 2년 뒤에는 알버트를 대신해 대표직을 감당할 사람을 보내주시길 기도해 주시고, 두 선교사 모두 올 한 해도 신실하게 사역을 감당하도록 기도해 주세요.

Ilchamus New Testament: Kenya
Great news recently reached Bible translation and literacy (BTL) offices in Nairobi. The printing of the Ilchamus New Testament is underway. The time when the Ilchamus community receives the New Testament in their language is very near. Pray for a successful printing process and pray for the planning of the celebration. Ask God to touch hearts and lives through this New Testament.

최근 나이로비에 있는 성경 번역및 문해 협회 (BTL: 위클리프 국제연대 자매단체) 사무실에 일카무스 신약성경의 인쇄가 진행 중이라는 기쁜 소식이 전해졌습니다. 일카무스 공동체가 이제 곧 자기네 말로 된 신약 성경을 받게 됩니다. 인쇄 과정이 성공적으로 잘 마치도록, 그리고 봉헌 예식을 잘 준비하도록 기도해 주세요. 이 신약성경을 통해 사람들의 마음과 삶이 변화되도록 손모아 주세요.
Fruitful year: South Asia
Praise God for a fruitful year of online training conducted by an Alliance organization in South Asia. Rejoice and glorify God that most of the 2021 goals were met, despite COVID-19 challenges. Pray that God will guide translation project leaders to the communities to work alongside local translators. Ask for God’s blessing of wisdom and unity for these projects: (a) Kassin* church engagement, New Testament celebration, and New Testament recording; (b) preparations for the Warka* New Testament celebration to be held at the earliest possible date; (c) help for the Walangi* team in the final stages of preparing the New Testament for recording and publication. *pseudonym
