Gyoojun and Jinsook are very thankful that the door for ministries to churches is now opening again after a two-year-long waiting due to Covid -19. They will serve Antioch Church of Edmonton (ACE) with 'CHURCHgame' for the first time in Canada, this weekend (February 18-19). Please pray that the 25 church leaders participating in this program will understand the identity and purpose of the church, and do their best with their God-given resources in making disciples of all nations. Pray that the partnership between ACE and Wycliffe Canada for the Bibleless people groups will continue to grow as well.

이규준 한진숙 선교사가 이번 주말(2월 18-19일) 에드먼턴 안디옥교회에서 캐나다 최초로 '처치 게임' 프로그램을 섬기게 됩니다. 코로나로 인해 2년여 닫혔던 교회 사역의 문이 다시 열리게 됨을 감사드리고, “처치 게임” 훈련에 참여하는 25명의 교회 리더들이 교회의 본질과 사명을 깨닫고 주님 주신 자원으로 모든 민족을 제자삼는 일에 최선을 다하게 되도록, 또한 성경없는 민족들을 위한 안디옥교회와 위클리프 캐나다간의 협력이 계속해서 발전해 나가도록 기도해 주세요.
February Virtual Prayer meeting: Oji-Cree projects, Northern Ontario
Wycliffe Canada is continuing with a monthly online prayer meeting on the second Saturday of the month. It will be held on February 12 (Saturday). This month, we are focusing on the Oji-Cree language projects in Kingfisher Lake, Ontario. The goals of the Oji-Cree language projects are to translate Scripture into their language, bring healing and change people’s lives. The Oji-Cree communities mostly live in rural parts of Canada. We would encourage you to invite anyone who you sense would have an interest in supporting this project. Please pray that more people will participate in these prayer times, and that more active partnership will develop as a result.
2월 온라인 기도회: 오지-크리 원주민 프로젝트
위클리프캐나다 월례 온라인 기도회가 지난 토요일(2월 12일) 모였습니다. 이번 달에는 온타리오주 북부, 킹피셔 레이크 지역의 오지-크리 원주민 성경 번역 프로젝트를 위한 모임입니다. 이 프로젝트의 목표는 성경을 자기 모어로 번역하므로 상처받은 캐나다 원주민들이 치유되고 원주민들의 삶을 변화시키는데 있습니다. 오지-크리 원주민 공동체들은 주로 열악한 환경의 외곽 지역에 거주합니다. 더 많은 캐나다의 교회와 개인들이 이 귀한 사역에 동참할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 기도와 재정으로 후원하기를 원하는 분은 한인 디아스포라 교회 협력팀에 알려주세요.

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)
The following prayer requests are prayers for the soil tilling efforts in this sensitive area. By serving the community in sustainable literacy and education development, the team is loving the community in very practical ways which pave the way for sustainable Bible translation work, which we believe the Lord will use to transform lives for His glory.
T Project: Some of the literacy goals for the T include the following: A growing number of members from the T community recognize the importance of MLE (Mother Tongue Language Education), and their actions demonstrate that they own it. A book about T folklore is published. 15+ children are enrolled in MLE classes. 50+ children have graduated from MLE classes. The primer and alphabet books are reviewed. Books for grade 3 are produced. Language researchers are trained and supported. Teachers in the public school begin teaching T in their classrooms. The private school dedicates 30 minutes to teaching T. A variety of digital resources are available for sharing on social media platforms.

실크로드의 기도 요청들은 보안 지역의 척박한 땅을 일구는 사역들을 중보하는 기도입니다. 사역팀이 지속 가능한 문해 사역과 교육 개발을 섬기며 매우 실질적인 방법으로 공동체를 사랑하는데, 이로서 사람들의 삶이 변화되고 주께 영광 돌리게 되리라 믿습니다.
T 프로젝트: T 지역 문해 사역의 목표중 일부는 다음의 사역들입니다: 점점 더 많은 T 공동체 사람들이 자기네 모어 교육(MLE)의 중요성을 인식하고 그에 대한 주도권을 가지고 있다는 사실을 가시적으로 보여준 것, T 민속 관련 도서 출판, 15명 이상의 어린이들이 MLE 수업에 등록한 것, 50명 이상의 어린이들이 MLE 과정을 졸업한 것, 초급 독본과 알파벳 책 교정 마친 것, 3학년 교과서 인쇄 완료, 언어 연구자들이 훈련을 받고 후원 받는 것, 공립학교 교사들이 T모어로 가르치기 시작하는 것, 사립학교에서도 주 당 30분씩 T 모어로 가르치는 것. T와 관련된 다양한 디지털 자원들로 소셜 미디어 플랫폼에서 공유할 수 있습니다.

Practical support in the community: South Korea
Praise God for a pilot project ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Bible Translation’ voluntarily proposed by a Global Bible Translators (GBT) partner who is an IT specialist. The proposal developed into an online working group with like-minded GBT staff who explore possible AI projects for Bible translation. Praise God that the partner paved the way for this project. This is one example of how God works in the hearts of people to give generously for his kingdom and the future of Bible translation. Pray for more creative ways and means for people to work in community and give support and help within the Alliance organizations and beyond.
지역사회에서의 실제적인 지원: 대한민국
성경번역선교회 (GBT)의 파트너인 한 IT 전문가가 자발적으로 제안한 '인공지능(AI)과 성경번역' 시범 프로젝트를 인하여 하나님을 찬송합니다. 이 제안은 성경 번역에 적용 가능한 인공지능 프로젝트를 찾고자 마음을 같이 하는 GBT 사역자들과 함께 하면서 온라인 워킹 그룹으로 발전했습니다. 이 제안으로 프로젝트의 길을 열어 준 것에 대해 하나님을 찬송합니다. 이 일은 하나님께서 그분의 나라와 성경 번역의 미래를 위해 넉넉하게 주시기 위해 사람들의 마음 속에서 어떻게 역사하시는지를 보여주는 본이 되어집니다. 더 많은 창의적인 방법들과 수단들을 통해 국제 연대, 더 나아가 여러 다른 공동체에서 사역하고 있는 이들을 지원할 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.
The power of unity: Canada and East Africa
At the beginning of the Sengwer Cherangany language project, the East African partner of OneBook discovered a division in the community. Some people identified themselves as Sengwer and others as Cherangany. Thanks to the partner’s skillful and wise mediation, the rift was mended. One of the translators reported his great joy in seeing respected people from both sides of the issue unite during a revision session while focusing on God’s Word in their language. Give praise for God’s work among them. Sengwer Cherangany is one of the smaller language communities in the country, and people raised more money in a national fundraising campaign than any other project community. Praise God for this unity, and pray that it continues to serve as a testimony to others in this region.

셍궤 체랑가니 언어 프로젝트의 초기 단계에서 위클리프캐나다 자매단체 원북의 동아프리카 동역자는 현지 공동체 내의 분열을 발견했습니다. 어떤 사람들은 자신을 셍궤라고 칭했고 다른 사람들은 체랑가니로 서로를 구별 했습니다. 그러나 동역자의 능숙하고 현명한 중재로 그 균열이 봉합되었습니다. 한 번역가는 개정 모임중에 문제를 제기하던 양측의 존경받는 사람들이 자신들의 언어로 된 하나님의 말씀에 집중하면서 서로 하나가 되는 것을 보고 큰 기쁨을 느꼈다고 간증했습니다. 이들 가운데서 함께 일하시는 하나님을 찬양합니다. 셍궤 체랑가니는 그 나라의 가장 작은 언어 공동체 중 하나지만 다른 어떤 프로젝트보다 전국 모금 운동에서 더 많은 후원금을 모았습니다. 이 연합을 인하여 하나님을 찬양하며, 이 지역의 다른 이들에게도 이 일이 계속해서 증거하는 역할을 하도록 기도해 주세요

Praise God! The Yaka translation team in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has received a vehicle and two motorcycles. The members are ready to put them to use in spreading God’s Word to their people.

Pray for IT Trainer Francis Meyof and the nine IT interns from across the Congo region as they continue their training. Their first workshop was recently finished in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
