WBTC-GBT English tutoring program
The English tutoring pilot program began on January 18. This is to improve the English proficiency of some Global Bible Translators (GBT, aka, Wycliffe Korea) workers, having alumni and volunteers from Wycliffe Canada connect with them via zoom. There will be 10 sessions from now until mid-February, focusing on various discussion topics related to the life and ministry of field missionaries. Please pray not only for conversational English training but also for a good time of fellowship, encouragement, and sharing between the students and tutors from these two organizations. Please pray for the coordination team (Paul Meisner, Paul Hooper, Daehee Lee, Eunyoung Park, Gyoojun Lee and Daniel Yoon) to serve well, relying on God's grace and wisdom.
캐나다와 한국 영어 튜터링 프로그램
지난 1월 18일부터 한국 성경번역선교회(GBT, 위클리프 한국) 사역자들의 영어 능력 향상을 위한 개인교습 파일럿 프로그램이 위클리프 캐나다의 은퇴자들과 자원봉사자들의 섬김으로 시작되었습니다. 2 월 중순까지 10 번의 세션 동안, 선교사의 삶과 사역에 대한 다양한 주제들을 중심으로 토론과 묵상 나눔을 하게됩니다. 영어 훈련뿐만 아니라 두 단체의 학생과 영어지도 교사들 사이에 좋은 교제와 격려, 나눔의 시간이 되도록 기도해 주세요. 양국에서 코디네이터 팀으로 섬기는 폴 마이즈너, 폴 후퍼, 이대희, 박은영, 이규준 및 윤기태 선교사가 하나님의 은혜와 지혜로 이번 시범 프로그램을 잘 섬기도록 기도해 주세요.

Cree initiative: Naskapi
In 2022, the Naskapi hope to publish a printed copy of the book of Exodus. Silas and Bill Jancewicz agreed to incorporate the audio recording of the book of Exodus as the final read-through. This will advance the process to have Exodus ready to publish in print. Praise God that unedited recordings are completed through Psalm 150. Editing in preparation for broadcasting is finished through Psalm 44. Three 30-minute “programs” of the Psalms have been delivered to the Naskapi radio station for airplay: (1) Psalms 1-16, (2) Psalms 17-25, and (3) Psalms 26-44. Silas is also the ordained Deacon of the Naskapi (Anglican) church, and as such performs many of the ceremonial duties for the community, such as prayers for the sick, weddings, and funerals. Please pray for Silas as he faithfully serves the local church, and that God will continue to guide and direct him in his ministry.
크리 원주민 성경 번역 운동: 나스카피
나스카피 원주민들이 금년중에 출애굽기의 인쇄본 출판하기를 소망하여 사일러스와 빌 선교사가 출애굽기의 오디오 녹음을 최종 독해본에 포함하기로 합의했습니다. 이렇게 하면 출애굽기를 인쇄본으로 출판하게 되는 과정이 진척이 됩니다. 시편 150편 전체를 무편집 상태로 오디오 녹음을 마쳤음을 인하여 하나님을 찬양합니다. 방송용으로 시편 44편까지 편집을 마쳤습니다: (1) 시편 1-16편, (2) 17-25편, 그리고 (3) 시편 26-44편 등 3편의 30분짜리 프로그램이 나스카피 라디오 방송국에 송출용으로 전달되었습니다. 사일러스는 또한 나스카피 (성공회) 교회에서 안수 집사로, 환자를 위한 기도, 결혼 예식, 장례 예식과 같은 공동체를 위한 많은 예전의 직분을 감당하고 있습니다. 사일러스가 지역 교회를 신실하게 섬기고 하나님의 인도하심으로 맡은 사역들을 잘 감당하도록 기도해 주세요.

Sharing with the next dialect: Australia, Asia
In February 2020, after 11 years devoted to Bible translation, the Central Myong* people of Asia celebrated by distributing several books of the Bible in their language. Praise God that Wycliffe Australia personnel were able to attend in person. During the distribution, it became evident that the Eastern Myong* found this dialect difficult to read. Praise God that Pamela, the main translator, has a broad knowledge of Myong* dialects. Within two weeks, she translated the Gospels of Mark and Luke into the Eastern Myong* dialect using the Adapt-It app. Praise God for enabling such progress in this project. Pray that the Good News would spread rapidly and be honoured among the Eastern Myong* people (2 Thes 3:1). *pseudonym
다음 방언으로 말씀을 나눔: 호주, 아시아

Creating communities of interest: France
Wycliffe France will begin creating its first five communities of interest around language and translation projects in 2022. They plan to develop clear options for mission partners and churches to pray, to influence, and to work together supporting projects in which churches in France are eager to take part. These communities of interest and the friendships that will grow from them are essential, as is understanding, respecting, and supporting the role and contribution of each mission, church partner, and friend. Pray for a fresh wave of understanding, unity, courage, and joy for each partner. Pray for clear communication between the Wycliffe France team and the churches in France as they guide each project.
