Korean Diaspora Engagement 한인 디아스포라 교회 협력

Albert and Martha (Isaac, Moses): director of Wycliffe Taiwan and a regional manager of a sensitive area, respectively (1)

Albert has been distributing Proclaimers, an audio Bible player donated by the FCBH (Faith Comes By Hearing) to minority language groups in Taiwan. Wycliffe Taiwan puts audio Bible in Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Hakka along with the minority group's language in a small disk memory card which is inserted into the Proclaimers for the use of churches and small groups in the minority language group. Praise the Lord! Recently, Wycliffe Taiwan successfully completed customs clearance with non-commercial duty-free products for 1000 Proclaimers from FCBH. Please pray for wise distribution and for this audio player to be used as a good tool to preach the gospel to many people in various minority languages. In March, Martha will preach at her home church Sunday school, and Albert also will serve in a preaching ministry at seminaries and Taiwanese churches. Please pray for Albert and Martha so that more people will be interested and challenged in the Bible translation movement through their ministries.

알버트 선교사는 FCBH (믿음은 들음에서 나며) 동역단체의 오디오 성경 전용 재생기인 프로클레이머1,000대를

기증받아 광동어, 대만어, 하카어와 함께 녹음을 마친 소수 민족어들중 필요한 언어들을 소형 메모리카드로 프로클레이머에 넣어 교회와 소그룹등 오디오 성경이 필요한 곳에 배포하는 일을 하고 있습니다. 프로클레이머가 상업용이 아닌 사역용 면세품으로 통관 절차를 잘 마쳤습니다. 지혜로운 배포와 이 오디오 재생기가 많은 소수민족 사람들에게 복음을 전하는 도구로 잘 사용될 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. 3월에는 마르다 선교사가 섬기는 교회학교에서, 그리고 알버트 선교사는 신학교와 대만 교회들에서 말씀 사역으로 섬기게 됩니다. 사역을 통해서 성경번역 선교에 더 많은 사람들이 관심과 도전을 받게 되도록 손모아 주세요.

Gyoojun and Jinsook Lee: director of the Diaspora engagement team

Gyoojun and Jinsook recently worked to develop Interface materials in Korean together with another translator. Interface is a seminar developed by Simply Mobilizing(SM). Church leaders can serve their own members with the program to become a more missional church embracing God's vision for all nations. We are thankful that a pilot seminar was successfully done with Open Door Presbyterian Church in collaboration with the Korean language coordinator of SM US. Please pray that many Korean diaspora churches will benefit from this seminar. Please also pray for the Lees who will serve the Kairos course online with other facilitators for the Grace Community Church in Surrey, B.C.

이 선교사 부부는 심플리 모빌라이징(SM)에서 개발한 '인터페이스' 코스를 섬기기 위해 최근에 다른 번역 사역자와 함께 한글 자료를 준비하는 일을 했습니다. 인터페이스는 일정한 훈련 절차를 거쳐 교회 지도자들이 선교적 교회가 되도록 스스로 교회 소속 성도들을 훈련시킬 수 있는 선교 프로그램입니다. 미국의 SM 한국어 코디네이터와 함께 열린문장로교회를 대상으로 한 시범 세미나가 은혜 중에 잘 마쳤음에 감사드리고, 더 많은 한인 디아스포라 교회들이 이 프로그램을 통하여 더욱더 선교적인 교회가 될 수 있도록 손모아 주세요. 이 선교사 부부는 또한 오는 3월부터 시작하는 그레이스한인교회(밴쿠버 써리지역)를 위한 온라인 카이로스 코스를 다른 조력자들과 함께 잘 섬기도록 기도해 주세요.

Silk Road Ascent (SRA): Bible translation in a sensitive area (Do not forward or post it anywhere online)

The pandemic continues to impact the SRA region and the projects Wycliffe Canada is supporting. Please pray for protection over the workers and their families, both local and expatriate. Pray that travel restrictions will ease so the “Q” team can meet with the translation consultants in person to complete the consultant check of Hebrews. Canadians “R” and “L” serve the SRA teams in many ways through prayer and staff care. R has been very ill with the virus but, praise God, is now recovering. L had a much lighter case. Please pray for continued healing for R and the two guests. Pray that L will be able to sleep well at night and get the rest she needs.

실크 로드 프로젝트: 성경번역, 보안지역 (수신자 이외에 배포하거나 온라인에 게시하지 말아주세요)

대유행병이 실크 로드 지역과 위클리프캐나다가 지원하고 있는 프로젝트에 계속 영향을 미치고 있습니다. 현지인 사역자들과 외국인 선교사들 모두 그리고 그들의 가족들까지 하나님이 보호해 주시도록 손모아 주세요. 이동 제한이 속히 완화되어 "Q" 팀이 번역 자문위원을 직접 만나서 히브리어 점검을 마칠 수 있도록 기도해 주세요. R과 L 캐나다 선교사 부부는 기도 사역과 인력 돌봄들 여러가지 사역으로 실크 로드팀을 섬기고 있습니다. R은 코로나 확진자로 판정되어 심한 증상을 겪은 후 지금은 회복중이라 하나님을 찬양합니다. L은 훨씬 가벼운 증상이라 감사드립니다. 손님 두 분과 함께 R과 L부부가 속히 쾌차하도록, L선교사가 숙면을 취하고 잘 쉬어 생기를 회복할 수 있도록 손모아 주세요.

The entire Bible for the Huichol: Mexico 
Thank God that copies of the complete Huichol Bible arrived in Mexico in July 2020. The New Testament was published and dedicated in 1988. Due to COVID-19 limits on crowd gatherings, this time a small thanksgiving celebration for the Huichol Bible took place. Huichol men distributed the Bibles throughout the Sierra Madre Mountains to the people waiting to have all of God’s Word in their language. Non-readers can find a portion of the Bible in audio format online. Ask God to transform the lives of Huichol people as they listen to and read God’s Word in their language. Pray that God will show local Huichol churches how to lead the way in implementing Scripture engagement activities. Pray that the entire Bible in Huichol will soon be available online. 

후이촐 성경 전서: 멕시코 

작년 7 월 후이촐 부족어 성경 전서가 멕시코로 잘 배송되어 감사드립니다. 신약은 1988 년에 이미 출판하여 봉헌되었습니다. 대유행병으로 인한 제한으로 이번 봉헌식은 간단한 모임으로 감사 행사를 가졌고 시에라 마드레 산맥 전역에 걸쳐 흩어져 사는 자기네 말로된 하나님의 말씀을 기다리는 후이촐 부족들에게 성경을 배포했습니다. 글을 읽지 못하는 사람들은 오디오로 된 쪽성경들을 온라인에서 검색할 수 있습니다. 후이촐 사람들이 자기네 말로 된 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 읽을 때 각 자의 삶이 변화되도록, 성경활용 사역들을 잘 활용하는 방법을 현지 교회들이 배우도록, 후이촐 성경 전서가 속히 온라인에서 내려 받을 수 있게 되도록 기도해 주세요. 

New language cluster projects: Indonesia
Praise God that Kartidaya will launch two new language cluster projects this year amid the shift to virtual ways of conducting Bible translation programs during the pandemic. Pray for wisdom and good coordination as teams continue working online. Ask the Lord for patience and perseverance since some of the language facilitators and translation consultants cannot travel back to Indonesia or to the communities they work with. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s anointing and leading to make Scripture engagement efforts fruitful in partnership with the Indonesian church, so that the Word of God brings life transformation. 

새로운 언어권 프로젝트들: 인도네시아

대유행병으로 인하여 성경 번역 프로그램들을 온라인 방식으로 전환하는 가운데 칼티다야 (현지 동역단체)가 올해 두 개의 새로운 언어권을 위한 프로젝트들을 시작하게되어 하나님을 찬송합니다. 사역팀들이 온라인으로 사역을 계속할 때 지혜와 협력의 마음주시도록, 언어 조력자들과 번역 자문위원들중 일부는 인도네시아로 또는 임지로 돌아갈 수 없는 상황이니 인내로 잘 견딜 수 있도록, 성령의 기름 부음과 인도네시아 교회와의 협력을 통해 성경 활용 사역이 결실을 맺고 하나님의 말씀으로 사람들의 삶이 변화되도록 기도해 주세요.

Pray for our new JAARS Vision Flights. Aviation is implementing a new weekly flight experience where those 12–21 years of age can register for a 30-minute flight with a JAARS pilot.
